A kx 125 is a full size bike the kx 100 is a lot smaller. I was at the track today on my kx 125 and rode my buddys kx 100 and i hated it. Im 5'9 and it felt sooo small to me compared to my bike. Not to mention theres not as much suspension and its hard to get good shock compression launching off jumps. Id say a kx100 is good for young teenage riders but if your over 5'5 a full size bike will feel the best and give help you become a better rider.

The reason the kx 85 is so fast is because its RACE TUNED!

The kx100 has more torque for trail riding, and has a heavier flywheel weight, if you take the weight and lighten it about 20 lbs you gain at least 50 rwhp on the kx 100 and will beat kx500s all day.

KX100's come stock with 28HP, and your saying changing a flywheel will get 50 HP out of the engine? That's more than the KX125 (42HP), I think that's a bit optimistic.

I have a KX 100 a 98, since 99 i never changed the oil, never did anything to the motor. I used to ride it every day for about 2 years. I blew the top end last year. For as much punishment i put it through I was very surprised it lasted that long. I would most likely still be running if i didn't do top speed runs on the street.
