  • Idea for Rifftrax: Stepehn King's It with Mike, Kevin, Al, and Brentalfloss.

  • Al should do more of these. He and Mike really play off each other well.

  • Weird Al and Rifftrax? Sounds like a chocolate peanut butter situation to me.

  • "Jurassic Park in the light; not so frightening." I JUST got it.

  • Nice self-referential joke there, Al.

  • Piling it on a little heavy, aren't we? Shut up for a bit.

  • Jurassic Park is frighting in the dark all the dinosaur are running wild!

  • Does anyone think the newly launched Prehistoric Channel launched?

  • how is this possible. This is the best duo EVER

  • Dinosaur fanboy lol

  • "Now to swoop in with that timeshare sales bitch!"

  • ROFL XD--- "When do we eat?" =P

  • 1:58 Weird Al - You really should turn your head slightly to the left more often, yea you miss out on lots of cool stuff!"

  • "Slackest jaw in Hollywood."

Now we know how she got the part! Giggity.

  • Assume the winded fanboy position!

  • "Is that a dinosaur?" "No."

    "Is that a dinosaur?" "No!"

    "Is that a dinosaur?" "NO!!"

    "This park sucks."

    Laughed SO hard at that!

  • It'll go over great with kids, and those who like to play God.

He should do the sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

  • is that a dinosaur ?no is that a dinosaur? no is that a dinosaur? no!

  • "Assume the winded fanboy position"

  • At 12:21 of August the 14th in the year 2010, I stumbled upon the greatest video ever to grace the eyes of mankind. It was the holy trinity of awesome: Jurassic Park, MST3K, and Weird Al. My life is complete.

  • "hey, i helped!"

"it'll go over great with kids and those who like to play God"

Um...why would they be excited about a T-Rex? They are MEAT eaters!

Wow, Weird Al was great in this!

  • "Hey we're here too! You should turn your head slitely to the left more often, yeah, you miss out on lots of cool stuff."

  • "Hey, we're here too! You should your head slightly to the left more often, you'll see loads of cool stuff!"

  • "When do we eat?!"

  • Weird Al is probably so at home "riffing" since he's done it before- cf. his "commentary" on the music video for R.E.M.'s "Man on the Moon".

  • "This park sucks."

  • lol 16 years of nothing: Star Wars reference.

  • "When do we eat?!"

  • you know jurassic park in the light.....not so frighting! anyone else realize that weird al is talking bout his song jurassic park?

  • Assume the winded fanboy position!

  • DGH!!!!! haahaha

  • "The utter majesty! Just imagine how much dog food you could make with just one!"

The music makes that line even better xD

  • Welcome! To Jurassic Park! "Is what I meant to say when we arrived two hours ago!" LOL

  • "you should really turn your head to the left more often."

I just did it an I didn't see anything

  • yeah just wait until you them....do it!

    XD

  • Weird Al Yankovic and Mike Nelson together?! This isn't YouTube, this is Heaven.

  • "Assume the 'Winded Fanboy Position'."

  • Comment removed

  • "There'd be no way it could ever let you down!"

  • "Marvel at the NOW taken for granted effects..."

    ROTFL. how true...

  • lol DGH.

  • "You know, Jurassic Park in the LIGHT? Not so frightening."

Oh, Weird Al. How I love you so.

  • "Well, we clocked the T-Rex at 32 miles an hour."

"But then he tested positive for DGH..."

  • RiffTrax rocks.

  • "...yeah well...wait 'til you see 'em DO it!"

  • "You really should turn your head slightly to the left more often." :-D

  • Assume the winded fanboy position.

  • "Now to swoop in with that timeshare sale's pitch!"

    "Is that a dinosaur?"

    "No."

    "Is THAT a dinosaur?"

    "No!"

    "Is THAT a dinosaur??"

    "NO!"

    "...This park sucks."

And the SF comment was dead-on accurate. It's been, what, 15 years since this movie came out, and that T-Rex is still THE most convincing special effects (character) I've seen in any movie!

  • Steven Spielberg has made a fortune packaging cotton candy for adults.

  • ASSUME THE WINDED FANBOY POSITION.

  • I wonder if it was coincidence that he mentions the star wars prequels, considering THIS was the film that inspired george to make them

  • Lousy audio compression

  • "Y'know, Jurassic Park in the light... not so frightening."

LOL, Weird Al referenced his own song.

  • When do we eat? LOL!

    1:27

  • Great Star Wars refrence at 0:22

  • IT's actually the Jurrasic park series itself

  • JP only had 2 sequels and they weren't made over a decade later, but only a few years later.

But, as far as fanboys anticipating 3 new movies after 16 years of nothing.... That's Star Wars. XD

  • "Yeah well... wait'll you see 'em... DO IT!" LOL

  • For those who have seen the whole riffed version...

He comes from a long line of gatekeepers...

    BOY or GIRL!!? lol

  • "Yeah well... wait'll you see 'em... DO IT!"

  • Wow... took me a few seconds to get the last line of the video.

  • Assume the winded fanboy position!

  • "Hey I helped" LOL

  • hey, Weird Al is a pretty good riffer

  • Yeah, he fit right in. Some of the other cameo riffers have been kind of awkward, but Al fits.

  • Juraasic park in the light, not so frightning , is a referance to his own song, juraasic park when he says , jurrassic park is frightning in the dark.

  • "It'll go over great with kids, and those who like to play god."

    lol!

  • Is that a dinosaur? No. Is that a dinosaur? No! Is THAT a dinosaur?? NO!

  • This park sucks. LOL!!

  • "marvel at the Now taken for granted special effects" lol

  • lol jurrassic park is not so frightening in the the light

  • Is that a dinosaur?...no! lol i nearly fell off my chair XD

  • "When do we eat?" HAHAHA I nearly died!

  • there's our fishing pond, stocked with coelocanths

  • Sweet! 3 of the great cultural icons: Jurassic Park, Weird Al, and Rifftrax. It took me a couple of seconds after the "in the light...not so frightening" for it to sink in. But then I had a good laugh.

  • spoke too soon. the other RiffTrax took my advice. sweet!

  • The volume cut when they talk is rather distracting. Makes them seem like they're just sitting there pushing a button whenever they want to say something and it doesn't feel as natural as the original mst.

  • weird Al is awesome i hope he riffs more with Mike

  • "Ohhh....the utter majesty! Imagine...imagine how much dog food you could make outta just one!"

  • Assume the winded fanboy position!

  • Good News, Bad News

Good News: Jurassic Park 4 is coming out in 2009.

Bad News: They didn't start filming yet....they are still looking for actors and a storyline?!

by the way. When do we eat?

  • "Howd you do this?

    and can i have one?"

  • I have this and I think I watched it like 40 times heh... you know these guys keep movies even MORE interesting no matter how many times you saw the original (without him/them talkin) because it just makes it that much more watchable XD

  • lol. this clip is awesome

it made me laugh like crazy

  • no he was exiled from the swamp lol

  • Love the Star Wars reference^^

  • They could have put in a few more minutes...

  • When do we eat?

  • "Assume the winded fanboy position!"

"Yeah, well...wait'll ya see em'...DO IT!"

  • lol "Jurrasic pak in the light...not so frightening."

  • I love this Rifftrax! I bought it fairly soon after it came out, and now, whenever I see Jurassic Park on tv, I'll cue up the commentary to wherever the movie is, and enjoy. Weird Al was a perfect fit, since he did the Jurassic Park song. So many great moments from this could have been posted, but this section was the right choice, because of the obvious song reference at the end of this clip.

  • Weird Al just fits in with the RiffTrax setting so magnificently. I can't believe they hadn't brought him on before this.

  • "Welcome to Jurassic Park... is what I meant to say when we arrived 2hrs ago" haha funny funny

  • Must be Alzheimers XD

  • they move in heards.. you have to see them, do it

  • is that a dinosaur!? no. is that a dinosaur!? no. is that a dinosaur!? no!!!

    This park sux

  • is that a dinosaur!?

  • no.

  • Some Rifftrax are kinda of a miss. I usually just skip ones for movies I thought were quite good, as I will likely end up finding it forced/disconnected.

There was sort of a dynamic with MST3K where they would find movies they knew a majority of people would find bad, me included, and everyone would laugh in unison at the things in front of them.

  • Weird Al not funny? What are you smoking and how can I avoid it?

  • Ah, yes, because, as we know, it's the badness of the movie, and not the riffing, that makes it funny, right?

    Give me a break.

  • Excellent choice for RiffTrax. Also Weird Al FTW.

  • They should do this for the third film. Especially for the scenes with the cell phone buried in dino shit and the scene where William H. Macy tries to put money into the vending machine (the one that's been abandoned for at least a decade).

  • I love RiffTrax! Weird Al is fantastic on here.

  • wended fanboy position! lmao

  • "Marvel at the now taken for granted special effects"

  • When do we eat?!?

  • Oh God, it's Weird Al!!! It's like my favorite thing... got MORE FAVORITEY!

Rifftrax, I love you. I wanna squeez ya tight. :V

  • My favorite riff on this commentary is when they show the Jurassic Park logo for the first time and Nelson says "Get a good look at it, thats the only you time your going to see it"

  • Am I the only one bothered by the sound? Like, how it has to cut out to hear the comments? I don't know.

  • i keep thinking that jeep driver is Jeff Daniels

  • This is pure gold!

I wonder when Mike, Kevin, and Bill will make a Rifftrax on:

    *The Pokemon Movies

    *Starship Troopers

    *Troy

    *Alexander

    *King Kong (with Naomi Watts)

*Romeo and Juliet (with Leonardo DiCaprio)

    or maybe even . . .

*HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (how could Disney sink so low with these movies?)

  • Now to swoop in with that timeshare pitch XD

  • "Marvel at the now taken-for-granted special effects"

It's true. The effects in this movie were incredible in 1993, but now are just par for the course in 2008.

  • Actually, I think the FX in JP are still more realistic than just about everything nowadays. The modern stuff may be more detailed, but the filmmakers seem to like filming the scenes in highly unrealistic ways that destroy credibility. For example, they might film a dragon flying right into the camera for an in-your-face exciting image, but that shot can't happen in real life and your brain subconsciously knows this. A real camera would film it from a safe distance.

  • While the Brachiosaurus may be showing its age, the T-Rex sequences - both at the paddock and visitor center - remain the most convincing examples of CGI I have ever witnessed.

  • Excellent. I think that is more risky and heroic riffing great and entertaining movies.

  • Nothing, I am not very well writing in English. I want to said something but I ruined it. Don't be so harsh.

  • Oh. All right, then.

  • You didn't ruin anything. textthing just doesn't like Jurassic Park.

  • lol is that a dinosaur, no, is that a dinosaur, no, is that a dinosaur, NO, This park sucks, funny

  • O NOES!! TIME ShARES!! D:

  • "This thing doesn't live in a swamp!" "No he's been exiled from the swamp."

  • ..."in the not too distant future, next friday the 13th, there was a guy name Jason, and little differen't then you and me..."

    Tribute to Jason X!

..."he did a good job keeping up the place, but they took it one step further and they shot him into space... WHOOOSH!"

  • Great riff, but I'm surprised the guys didn't hit on an obvious riff...

Old Man Gets Out of Jeep (in raspy southern voice): "I'm Colonel Sanders. Now, do you like your Brontosaurus original or extra crispy?"

  • "Jurassic Park in the light, not so frighting."

Thats funny as hell because in Al's song Jurassic Park, he sings "Jurassic park is frightening in the dark."

  • When do we eat?

  • "Is that a dinosaur?" "No" "Is that a dinosaur?" "No" "Man, this park sucks."

  • Weird Al should Riff with these guys more often. XD

  • "Hey, we're here too! You really should turn your head slightly to the left more often."

  • LMFAO! this is my favorite movie, mst3k (mike nelson) is my favorite show, its perfect! hahaha

  • "Weird Al" FTW.

  • "marvel at the now taken for granted effects!"

    lol, so true.

  • lmao! this is so great!

  • Marvel at the now-taken-for-granted effects!"

  • I think they should make fun of the third Jurassic Park movie instead. Now that movie sucked!

  • Jurassic Park in the light? Not so frightening.

  • "When do we eat"

    "asume the iwnded fanboy position."

"marvel at the now taken for granted affects"

  • "Yeah, well, wait till you see em'...DO IT!"

    XD

    "How did you do this?"

    "And can I have one?"

    First question outa my mouth.

  • there face's loook soo wrong hunny x]] is that a dinosaur i always ask someone that knows about this vid whan there divering me i be like "is that a dinosaur" them "no but maybe that is" me "where' ;o

  • Time to step in with my timeshare sales pitch! :D

  • its alright, but its no MST3K

  • there will be nothing greater than mst 3k

  • WHEN DO WE EAT? omg haha that made me laugh hecksa hard

  • How dare you insult Mike.

  • This was pretty funny, but to be accurate, he turned his head to the right. It was our left when looking at his face.
