The Japanese show was translated to an American audience by creating Power Rangers, which is an American recast. But despite despite the recast they still use the Japanese footage for the action sequences and robot/giant battles. With you FINALLY knowing that, you should know the American version so far hasn't had an Asian as a lead. The more you know.

i love andros as red space, and tommy as red zeo, but i thought it was major disrespect to make tj and rocky blue rangers after they were already red ones, not much cudve been done about rocky, but they cudve made andros silver and zane blue (think about it, w/ the darker stories turbo had, they cudve had a reason why andros or zane wasnt red, have someone KIA or something to add to why andros was so intent on taking out dark spectre on his own)

To my knowledge, there's only one Red Ranger who is "missing", and that's Dan Bacon (Red Alien Ranger), who quit acting shortly after his PR run and pretty much disappeared. There's also the case of Danny Slavin (Lost Galaxy Red Ranger), who is now a successful lawyer in Phoenix and hasn't been seen in anything PR related since his bit on Forever Red.
