Sad and lonely are human emotions. Bears gets frustrated when their cubs are missing or they can't find food. They don't mind being alone. And chance is, he has no idea what "Out" is.

He's just a little crazy about attention. Crazy Ol' Bear. I'm sure they treat him well.

@amnezija Zoos are about animals nowdays, not people. Especially in China. They're trying to learn more about and preserve the species.

I assure you they take excellent care of the animals - and frankly they couldn't care less. Food, water, shelter, not getting shot by poachers. What animals want is different from us humans.
