These kinds of operations were not known nor popular amongst the shabaab who fought against the soviets in afghanistan and the northern alliance, nor was it known during the Jihad in Tajikistan, Bosnia and or Chechnya. The proper term is "self-sacrifice operation", but some of the scholars of ahlul sunnah have forbidden it whilst others have said that it should be used only as a last resort; thus killing ALOT of enemies and thereby not hurting any muslims in any way by doing so. Than it is ok. Otherwise no. And Allaah knows the best. n3m.
They had their own brigade in Zenica, and from what i heard from my uncles is that once they were on the attack all serbian soldiers ran as fast as possible from fear and dread!
The reason i said it isnt in bosnia is because the croatian and serbian government is cracking down on all remaining mujahadins that have remained in bosnia and theres nothing our government can do about it. There have been alot of protests by bosnians. We want them to stay but europe wont allow it!!

actually the un made it worse with an arms embargo while the commies were better equipped. and if u do ur research u will discover 2/3rds of bosnia was recaptured through the groundbattles by the mujahideen. i can c ur jealously dont worry were used 2 it

Yes I am Bosnian, and yes they were chaised away after the war. But let me explain this, they were not chaised away from us Bosnians, but rather from the serbian and croatian parliament. We Bosnians only control 1/3 of the country and government, so we are outnumbered by the decision making!! Our president Haris Silajdzic tried everything he could to keep the fighters who settled in Bosnia there, but nothing worked out!! We will never forget the help we received and we will always be thankfull!

Big respect to all of them and their families! They helped us alot and my uncles have told me alot about them because they were in a few brigades with them.
