@bigrick666 Something like this can't be done well using Kinect in my opinion. There would be too much latency due to the Kinect sensor outputting video at a rate of only 30 frames per second.
@Coop720 In this video the bass drum is set to be played automatically during the songs. It is trivial to track the foot position in an identical way to the sticks but I didn't have it set up when recording this.

I notice IR cameras and reflector balls on the sticks. Easy way to track points in 3d, but is there a cheaper way?
