When Haunted Mansion Holiday first opened, I was so scared of the ride (mainly because of the stretching room). I couldnt watch Nightmare Before Christmas for several months after that even though I was a fan of that movie xD

I really wish they would not put up Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas decorations it really is not necessary. In fact with the decorations being put up or taken down it is a inconvenience to Disneyland guests,because people cannot ride this attraction. Personally I don't even like the decorations here why couldn't they have left well enough alone.

@UnnyGorey - They do it every year. The ride closes after Labor Day and reopens very late Sept or Early Oct. The make over runs until just after New Years and then is shut down and reverted back.

It's not my fault that I am only available at this time but man I am so sick of this version and wish they would just stop doing it like this!

I know why they don't do this in Florida. For the props to be all set up and ready could take months and WDW can't aford to have that happen because of the rides popularity. And if the huanted mansions closed for that reason you would hear a lot of complants and the parks population will go down. Both are fun. This one is a pretty nice change for the Halloween and Christmas seasons. It really brings the Nightmare Before Christmas to life. I'm looking forward to my trip over next week.

Nope. It was designed for WDW's Haunted Mansion. They didn't want it because they didn't want to close down the ride for basically 2 months out of the year. Tokyo took it because it was a clone of WDW's, and then DL took it a few years later.

It is a massively tough sequence to sync up because there is a massive difference between the full track length versus the time it takes to travel through the attic. I did and redid the sequence and finally settled on what I had as the best result. - - RU

HM closes right after Labor Day and is usually closed for a month. HMH opens late September/early Oct and then run for 3 months. Typically HM closes again in early January for an additional month while they change it back. - _ RU
