Ok here is the thing the state flag should be on top of the flag pole then the US flagon the bottom because the states are there on countries and the Federal level is at the bottom Showing state Sovereignty.Thats what the 10 Amendment is for so please read it clearly.
First, you have to understand history, which you obviously don't understand or have any knowledge of the illegal overthrow of the Queen, the illegal annexation of Hawaii and the illegal statehood of Hawaii. There never was any kind or form of a signed treaty. ever. none. 2 failed attempts at a treaty, and only a joint resolution which is not a treaty. Which means, Hawaii has been illegally occupied just like IRAQ. So, if you knew, you would understand their freedom of speech!

I know the USA isn't just going to leave and say "Sorry, here's your islands back" and even if we did, the Chinese or someone else would come and take over and it would probably be worse off than it is now.

U.S. Flag should NOT be below the McDonalds flag. HOWEVER for those of us precious few who have read the U.S. Constituiton we know that the states are sovereign. The U.S. Flag code is UNconstituitonal because it requires the U.S. Flag on top. The States are Sovereign and so the State Flag should always be on top-for those who believe our founding fathers were right to make the states sovereign.
I love Waianae. I hope all of you can visit the place one of these days. It is gorgeous and so too are the people. Of all the places in Hawaii there is only one Waianae Coast and one Waianae Valley. Go Seariders!!!
