Lilly's parents chose to help Lilly learn speech and spoken language early. There's no reason to assume they haven't helped her learn sign language, too, or that she couldn't choose to learn it later. It's important to this family that their child have choices.

I agree!! and sadly raped of her rights by putting cochlear implants when they could have done a better approach hence using ASL
