Its a pro video,excellent opening.It really covers the best features of the onda vi40.The images and videos looks so fluid with no lagging.What android version you use on the tablet on the video??Is it 4.0,4.1,4.2 or 4.3.?? Because screen transitions are so smooth.Good Job.

What do you suggest, this or the cube u10gt? They both seem quite similar spec but the cpu is allwinner vs rockchip. What is the battery life on both?

@Gunzee unfortunately we do not have the cube u10gt to compare but our personal preference is allwinner a10, battery life is excellent and supports usb charging.

@ediadegbola thank you! it really is a matter of personal preference, main differences are: Screen Size / Cameras / Price - personally i would say if you can afford it buy both haha... but in all honesty they are both fantastic value for money tablets, maybe the aurora would be best because of it's size as it is more convenient to carry around so would get used more maybe? indeed would be interesting to hear what the most popular choice would be for everyone...

Just a remark here, the true cpu clock is @ 1.0GHz and not what Onda claims (1. 5GHz)

@kk1200ts the allwinner a10 cpu is specified as 1.5GHz, various manufacturers will quote 1.5 or 1.2 GHz but in fact it is actually 1.0GHz as you stated. this may change if future firmware of android is able to make full use of the processor.

currently flash is not compatible with ICS for Onda Vi40 and many other devices, only way around it is to flash to Android 2.3 if/when the firmware is available as it has recently been released for the Ainol Novo 7 Elf and Aurora. Hope this helps

@athelay123 the only downside is that you wont be running the latest android 4.0 ICS platform, which to be honest is not such a bad thing if adobe flash, skype etc are important features that are needed. the great thing is its always possible to re-flash back to ICS later once it has developed further.

@prillylizard1 just installed zynga poker for facebook from the market, logged in and working fine... will try testing this further including via web browser when possible. hope this helps

Thank you, we tried to show as much as possible within the 15min YouTube limit and will upload some more videos soon demonstrating the tablet via HDMI and also any ICS updates.

The Onda Vi40 is a fantastic device with an amazing display whilst still being very affordable.

Regarding 3G dongles, we do not have list of compatible dongles at the moment but we tested it with our Huawei E1750 and Virgin/T-Mobile UK sim card.

@man7867 in our honest opinion we would say the screen is faultless and a real viewing pleasure, we have had no issues with battery life but have yet to carry out any extensive battery tests. hopefully this will get around to doing this soon also. thank you
