  • you got ripped off, my friend

  • its not my friend did it befor

  • you should do a laptop next

  • reminds me of the tesla towers in red alert ^^

  • umm who wants fried plasma lamp for dinner?

  • @STAIRcase488 Me!

  • omg.. i saw the jumbosizeone ... but i listened to it in 1 minute steps, did u notice that it charged up for something?

  • That's not his house you dumb fuck...

  • It is not a good idea to microwave anything that can explode.

  • why didnt this happen on is it a good idea to microwave this?

  • I had never seen a plasma ball lit by a microwave oven before. Amazing how the plasma bolts get affected by microwaves.

  • i tried this n the microwave just set the plasma globe on fire

  • I love how the sparking alternates from the internal circuits to the globe

  • amazing

  • the globe is not dead the electronics in it are they will be fried!!! what a manky microwave maybe clean the face sometime so we can see into it better

  • Its not the heat, its the 'elctromagnetic' radiation from the magnetron in the microwave. It must be causing the charge seperation that normally occurs when the ball is plugged in but this is far faster and more chaotic.

Don't quote me on that, please. I'm not certain, that was just an educated guess.

    This is awesome anyways.

  • really cool but how does the heat make it light. i like it. where do you get those. walmart

  • Get it at Spencer Gifts

  • lol, microwaves don't use heat, unlike ovens. They apply microwave radiation to the food, and the water molecules inside the food get excited, and boil. The water in the food heats it, not the actual microwave.

  • Microwaves is not heat energy. It increases thermal energy from which the microwaves are hitting. Actually I put in a plate, on accident that had a silver decoration and tons of static sparks came from it. I also do not recommend tin foil or burger wrap from McDonalds as you get nasty results

  • very cool, i wonder why the plasma ball keeps lighting up spontaneously when exposed to the microwaves.

  • It looks like it only lights up when its moving towards the microwave emitter, Its slightly off center.

  • sweet

  • It lasted longer than I thought it would.

    Microwave 1 - PlasmaGlobe 0

Don't try this at home kids...

(Try it in someone else's house instead...!!)
