Some of the terms are right, but most of the bells they are holding are made out of pure brass and are not hand bells. there are one or two around the set if you keep your eyes peeled, they have leather strap handles for ease of ringing.
You have to listen to this a few times to appreciate how well constructed and artful it's been constructed and also how it fits into the Lancastrian self depreacting humurous vein. A classic!

The best bit starts at 0:00. On the Two Ronnies their bells do not have any hammers inside them.

What's Ironic is, is that I am a member of the Rochdale branch of bell ringers, tower bells, and handbells. I was quite surprised when I found it.
