Although I didn't vote for her, I am very glad that Senator Susan Collins has the power to think for herself and not just go along with her party's majority decision. I just don't get how the Republicans called McCain a maverick for crossing party lines but are attacking her for doing so.....hmmm

Senator Collins, thank u for the bipartisan work this past week. While the gallup on the stimulus bill gave 31% approval rate to the GOP, as opposed to 67% approval for the president, I don't think this reflects ur work. I know there will be issues were u differ from the president but I hope u continue the bipartisan spirit on behalf of the American people. I'm proud to be a fellow New Englander.
