  • Thanks dude... I think I may pick one of these up if things go well this summer. see you on umgf

  • Wonderful... I am really interested in this new model... specially since over the last decade martins done litle but to dilute itself and ofereing... this guitar is different. I am wondering what strings you were using as teh trebbles seemed a little passive

    thanks

    Schu

  • Whatever strings they shipped it with. New Adirondack spruce with really tight grain is like that: both ends of the dynamic range are a bit anemic until the top breaks in. The trebles fatten up a lot over time, but it takes longer than the bass. So most people put a .13 and .17 on and I still do that now some months later.

  • Even though the recording quality is horrible, you can still hear the amazing tone of this guitar. wow.

  • Sounds GREAT! I'm planning on getting a Martin OM in the future. :D

  • Beautiful song, beautiful guitar.

  • What I love about Martin guitars is that they make sure that any automation added to their product lines is equal or better than the quality they were getting with their previous handmade techniques. It's still a superior instrument both in sound and beauty - which you just proved.
