The Ancients were pacifists and they even refused to fight with their kins, the Ori, in their original home galaxy. They may have highly advanced technology but did not master the art of war. They abandoned their city, Atlantis, and retuned back to Earth. Wraith technology are less advanced but they are probbaly simplier and allowed mass production.

@Rihn000 You can't know that for sure, and if they did then where would the plot be for Stargate: Atlantis? There would be no show, not to mention Stargate: SG-1. What happened happened for the sake of the story-line. The writers made the Ancients lose, in reality they probably would have kicked serious ass.

Excellent video, very well put together. There is one thing about the ancients that I don't understand. All the lanteans were pre-ascended beings, so shouldn't they have exhibited abilities like Adria or the Priors of the Ori?

they may well have done but dont forget the lanteans retreated back to earth following the wraith war in pegasus, it was only after they got back to earth and had established their influence upon ealry earth civilisations that they finally ascended.

This give's a very good backgrond about the ancients but there's one prob you show one of there warship's and it make's it look like 1 vs 1000 win thay realy had lot's more then but thay did all die off sad tho D;

The ancients did have a large fleet but the Wraith still Outnumbered thiers. Mainly due to the Cloning facilities which gave the wraith a demand for more and more ships. Anyway i've re-done this video again to show some more battle clips so i hope you'll give that video a try :)

Not all of them are the ancients, some are replicators, but i figured that seeing as the replicators based themselves on the ancients in both physical appearance and technology then i could actually use them for a ancients video. :)
