  • nice

  • could you install the rad internally where the two exhaust fans are?

  • look my video - thats how to install watercooling in a thermal take spedo! :D

  • i just bouth my spedo advance case....i just fell in love with it very formal case!lol.....start building it now....

  • @albertzization nice, gl with the build

  • good job for your first atempt, and good job at making use of what space you had with the idea of a side mounted radiator

  • @dogboy12457 thx man

  • u got a good taste of music^^

  • Nice Pc i also have the spedo and it is a great case but the way i have my loop set up i have no room for any thing. I was just wondering how you side mounted the the 240 mm radiator on that side i looked at mine and i cant figure out how u did that. if i get the chance ill post a vid of my rig. message me back with some tips for sidemounting that radiator if you dont mind

  • @puretalent7 Do you have the spedo advance pack? If you do, yo have a fan grill on the right side panel. I simply used 4 screws to secure the rad. check the pic in the description box pic (red lines are where screws are)

You said you had a 240 rad. You could also mount it outside at the back of the case where the two exhaust fans are

  • very nice job like the idea of the side mounted radiator

  • ra·di·a·tor [rey-dee-ey-ter] - 3. a device constructed from thin-walled tubes and metal fins, used for cooling circulating water, as in an automobile engine.

    not [rah-dee-ey-ter]

  • Good vid, nice work for a first time water cooler.

  • so you put hot water into your res? should you cool water after been going through your cpu loop before going back into the res?

  • @Lasershamm every one does their loop a bit differently. Personally I have my radiator after the pump and before the CPU. That way the water is at its coldest when it goes in the CPU block thus providing better cooling

  • nice setup man. looks good.

  • Nice build check out my water cooling setup. Thanks

  • will do

  • at 2:13 is it just me or do i see a t-line if it is why do you have it as it does the same job as ur res?

  • ya you are right. I wanted to combine the advantages of both the T line and the res

  • mine will probibly look the same lol im ordering my danger den kit friday

  • I have that Temp Reader by Nxzt, I like it alot

  • sweet, have fun with it and be good to her. :)

  • A note, it's not an LCD, it's an LED on your " mudder board "lol

nice build though, I want to have 168 watt TEC junctions with liquid cooling. I would need to run something other then water or it would freeze on the cold side. Down sides of using TEC the hot section gets beastily hot and needs a huge radiator. not to mention the 400 watts alone for it.

  • His loop is fine and in order, I have the spedo case and just ordered my first water cooling, I'm going to use the MCR320 Rad. and just can't figure out where to mount it!

Should I mount it the back or on the side like yours. not sure at all !

  • if i was to redo it, i would probably get a 220 and not a 320 and just mount it on the back, but if you really want a 320 or already have it, that the simplest way (without nay mods to the case) is what i did. You could also mode the top to fit it there or have somesort of attachment for the back

  • I think I'm gonna attach it to the back but raise it above the 2x 4870x2 crossfireX cards so it won't suck the heat from both of them !

  • asuhurley why didn't you put the radiator on the back behind the 2 120mm's on the back I think it would have been better. but everithyng else is killer

  • The back can't fit a 3x120 rad because the video card's output is the way. the back can only fit a 2x120

  • Try Koolance coolers! They rock anything I've ever used. I have one and love it!

  • that case or cooler master cosmos 1000

  • Yeah i would mount the radiator on the back of the case.

And maybe trim and tidy up the cooling tubes coz it looks kind messy. Nice setup though.

  • does any one notice that he has his water cooling set up ran the wroung way. Hot cpu water going into the resvor then into the pump then to the rad. Going to burn that pump up.

  • i wanna build a computer i know what cpus are in stuff i got 1200 to spend any redomendations

  • Man sorry to say this you have the piping all wroung. It should go from pump to water block first then it takes the hot water out from the water block out side to the radior then goes back in then it should go to the resvor also the t line should be at the lowest point.

  • you should put the radiator on the back of the case,it would be better.

  • hmm.. the thermaltake fans are very crap stuff..and also ur first watercooling .. is very strange.. my tip.. built a dual-radiator in the case. on the backside with 2x max.1500rpm fans it is a enough for the 920. the reservoir would built on the top in the case to filling easy the water in the system ..

i show u my watercooling system .. next time .. add me and i give u a couple of tips :P

  • nice purple fan!

where did you got it? what's the brand?

  • one more thing one fan on the Radiator all i can say to that is LOL u spend all this money on water cooling and only have one fan u might wanna add a few more it looks 2 me like you've got a three fan Radiator

  • its a 3x120 RAD and i have 1 blue and 5 black fans on it not

(1 black on top, 1 black on bottom, 2 black+1blue in the middle)

  • Comment removed

  • im liking that case very very much ;) speedo best case ever :D

  • Yo i just installed a Water cooling system on my Thermaltake spedo, Asus Rampage 2 Gene, intel 920 (1366) i7 6gb Geil Ram DDR tripple channal GTX 295,

installed the water cooling last night but the pump did not fit so i had to costom install all the parks, and added an aqua bay, looks pritty sick but mine is allot less messy than yours.

  • pics??

  • told u its going liek man whach out i reken its all going pop get new tubes man really thieck ones trust me and the box thing get a batter one told u about my old rig

  • Funny i have the exact same res as you and i did a 3 hour leak test with no leaks and once i brought it up into my room with everything installed it leaked from the bottom like yours did i assume it was due to the seal that was on the bottom res fillport

  • Yup, the thing is that it didn't leak while running, only when the pump stopped. What i did is i used teflon plumber tape. I put some on the screw (quite a bit actually)

  • nice job WCing. with you mounting the rad on the side panel, it would suck if you had to remove the side panel for any reason.

    Cheers

    LazyMan@WCM

  • Actually no, I checked before installing it, and i left enough tube loose that i can easily remove side panel

  • cool, I was just thinking that with the rad installed on the side panel it would be difficult to remove the side panel because of the weight of the rad. But if it seems to be ok that's great.

  • i love how its mounted on the side

    gr8 job

  • Thanks, man

  • hey great job with your first water cooling build great video as well. Not to sure the plate will catch on thou lol. Keep the videos coming :)

  • thx man, hehe it was a drop by drop leak, the plate and paper was only there to monitor if the leak was fixed, and it was
