i was disheartened by the story screw ups in the new ones. i did NOT like the way they portrayed the Force in the new ones. they made it seem like something you could count. whereas in the original ones the Force just "was".

in the new star wars series, the Force was measureable. the "mitichlorians" or hwever the hell you spell it. thats how anakin as a young boy was determined to have the Force. they took the original Force which was this unknowable thing to something that was basically in a persons bloodstream. i was disappointed.

Phantom Menace was downright horrible though, Attack of the Clones was.. meh.. But you are correct, old ones will always be the best.
