Okay, listen. The reason Square Enix never made any of their KH/FF games have the same graphics that the Hi-Res cutscenes do is because it wasn't possible. Those cutscenes are NOT from the game's/system's graphics card, they are pre rendered movies that are set to play at certain points in the game. It's like watching a DVD on your PS2, the quality of it isn't affected by the console because it's just a movie.
