To be fair, this was an event involving the president so there was nothing wrong with both sides representing other states. It was a regional event and two of the anti people I interviewed were from Mass. It was not a local town hall meeting.

That said, conservatives didn't bus anyone in. I think that is the bigger point.

Not surprised. How do you know a leader is maniacal? Well, when he does things like this. Similar to how leaders of places like North Korea, China, and Iran pack their public events with supporters.

I have to disagree. Politics is about power, pure and simple. I expect all politicians to do this. The only counter forces are a) the ROI calculation b) what they think they can get away with. I don't think "maniacal" is a factor.

Don't fixate on Obama or any other public figure. They're just faces. Their job is to be obsessed over by you so that those who really pull the strings are left alone.
