  • wow. your tone, style, and everything about your playing is amazing. I think I could listen to this forever.

  • Wow, absolutely beautiful playing. It's just a solo trombone but I could have listened to it for an hour straight, he really does tell a story with his playing.

  • Alright I am holding my dog ransom....Until you teach me how to roll like that!!...LOLOL...Wow!! Smooth and very lyrical with a great sound!! Great job bro!!

  • This is awesome! Well played :)

  • yo dre...you surprised me with that bmin9...beautiful playing.

    dg

  • Big Butter Sound !

    Yes !!!

  • Love the lick around 1:30. I hear a lot of Carl Fontana and Frank Rosolino in your playing.

  • thank you

  • How do you know I'm not a left handed player ??????????

  • @MrAndyskinner It'd be kinda hard to hold the horn.... not that its impossible >.>

  • Lovin' that New Orleans Swing my brotha!!!! Play On!!!

  • Wow!! That's amazing! I hope someday I'll be able to play like that! That was beautiful!

  • I'd give my right arm to be able to play like that

  • @MrAndySkinner

If you gave your right arm then you wouldn't be able to play trombone

  • @dwiggerman I'm pretty sure he used that cliche for the obvious intended pun that came along with it.

And there is such thing as a left-handed trombone player. Just not a one-armed one. Lol.

  • Sounds really good, Andre! Keep posting!

  • Andre, that was great, you are an inspiration, thanks from Trombone players in Queensland, Australia

  • So nice, congratulations!

  • That was beautiful Man!!!!!

  • lick fest

  • Andre really nice job, you have developed your own voice

  • He's a great teacher. will learn more. soon I'll get to that stage and will have haters just as these ones posting hating comments. most can't even do half of this. Keep doing your thang \Mr. Hayward. I'll hit you up.

  • man, I love his style, so smooth and relaxed, truely a great jazz trombonist

  • jubbadatrombone was right about using alot of natural slurs

  • sounds like robin eubanks.....^^.....cool....

  • why is that bad? he sounds great. not necessarily like robin eubanks, but great in his own right.

  • wow!........

    thats sick!....awesome....!!!

  • dude that was sick. especially with no rhythm section

  • great playing

  • 1:18 ftw

  • that was great hope to be that good someday

  • he has been a member since my birthday last year

  • youre 8th July? I am 9th July :))

  • I love how fast you can smooth tongue.

Are you double-legato tounging? Or just being awesome at single tounging?

  • I may be wrong but I got the impression that he was single tonguing. He used a lot of natural slurs on the trombone to his advantage.

  • andre youve inspired me to practice twice as hard in order to achieve your level of fluidity, flexibility, and selectivity. plus your tone is so bright and clear with only a small dullness to it. i enjoyed your playin alot. - josh

  • hey Andre! You did a little clinic for Boston Latin School around a year ago! Just wanted to say hi and that you're sounding as good as ever!

  • Cool looking trombone .Dosnt look like a bach or a king .Sort of has a diffused sound.

  • Elliot Mason's horn is better. It has a lot of protein in it.

  • dude, what are you talking about? it's a matter of personal preference, but a player makes a player, not a horn. I'm sure Andre could tear it up on any trombone, not just his own.

  • hey man, very smooooov

  • Holy Fucking Shit nice man

  • i watched a video of dickie wells a couple weeks ago and immediately thought to myself..."andre looks like that when he plays" lol. sounds great as usual.

  • Is That A Raw Brass finish??

  • Hello,

Thanks For watching the clip. This horn was custom made by Josh Landress who's brass repairman and brass instrument maker at Sam Ash in New York. It's a brush finish.

    Peace & Keep Swinging

    Andre Hayward
