Thank you very much for taking the time to put these videos on youtube. I am a German working in India trying to get a basic understanding of geology and this helps alot. That's why Youtube is a revolution as it provides a great way of learning also if videos like this may be only the drop of knowledge in the ocean of nonsense.
Wow, was TV really so much better back then than it is now? It's certainly more entertaining today but you can learn a lot more from shows like these...
@Zanchetta99 In the mid-70's there were rather a lot of programs of this general type. TV was the only available medium, although it was poorly suited. Services like YouTube are much better suited to this kind of thing, as evidenced by multiple universities, public and private, in multiple countries, having channels on which multiple courses have their lectures available publicly.

Oh my! I remember watching these videos in grade 8! I haven't seen them for decades, but I am now a geologist! Connection? I think so!
