PS, I hope Arnie Nudell doesn't read what I said about replacing the woofers! And sounding better! That really isn't true! I would have liked to replace with the original! I had lots of problems getting them to work with my Krell Amps! I finally did worked it out and it was wonderful for years! The HSU subwoofers have the Infinity Q drivers in them, so they all harmonize together! Unbelievable sound Lows from 16 hz to 45000 hz Doesn't get any better than that LOL!!!
Greetings! My friend from Germany! You are very wise and observant! Yes I had to replace the woofers after they dry rotted after 10 years of use. I couldn't get them fixed. So I replaced them with Infinitys Perfect Q, yes their are ment for car installations. But they work better than the original because I was able to buy the active crossover I wanted. Its a butterworth 24db slope, which is totally adjustable. I can raise the volume, adjust eq, and set the frequency at the proper 150 hz. THX.
what did you do to the epsilons basses...? greetings from germany i am infinity fan and own a pair of omegas...these seem not to be the originals, did you replace them?
Yeah! It took me 1 year too find the Epsilons! They sound incredible, but they need subwoofers to really balance it all out! The HSU Subs are the best for High End Audio! I was not able to even turn them on, when I recorded my song Addee! By the way I have the speakers spaced @ 8 feet apart! I tryed them at different widths, but this is the best sound for my listening area! The room is 13 wide by 22 long..
