I also worked at Ole's in Rosemead in the early 1980s (I even did the instore ad announcements). I was assistant Head Cashier there.  I then transferred to the Ole's in Anaheim on Knott and Lincoln.

I was the Operations Manager for the store in Chatsworth. Much work, but I learned things that help me 28 years later.

God! We had no bar code! Had to "price check" every goddam bolt, screw!

Frank Pitch was my boss- good guy, taught me much about work and retail.

Wow! I didn't even know Ole's had TV commercials. I worked at the Rosemead Store on Valley and the West Covina Store on Francisquito Ave in the late 60's early 70's. My Mother-in-law at the time work the one in Hacienda Heights on Gale.

We had one on Valley Blvd in the city of Alhambra back in the 1980's, then it became a Builders Emporium.

When I was a kid I remember my dad taking me to Ole's in Fontana behind the Carl's Jr for several weekend trips to help my grandmother.

Was there an Ole's in Hacienda Heights, CA at the corner of Gale and Hacienda Blvd? if so do you know anyone that worked there?
