If you are to deny all passages on Spiritual except those that came directly from Jesus, then you would have to exclude a large %age of what we know as Christianity. Jesus did teach to OBserve all that He commanded. Jesus also did not address homosexuality personally. However, Jesus did, quite often, quote the Old Testament and exhort His followers to believe all that was written. He mentioned Moses' writings quite a bit. So, if Jesus upheld heterosexuality as He did in Matthew 19: 4-6, isn't the end result of that message against homosexuality in its logical conclusion?

Alchololicism leads to addiction! Persons who are alcoholics are persons who on realizing that this 'drug' offers some form of escape, become addicted for such an effect because they are often times sad/troubled etc. A gay or straight person doesn't have to have sex to know who they are attracted to. In fact a straight man can have sex with a man yet his attraction lies with a woman, likewise the gay woman with a man, and her attraction is for a woman. So those are completely different things.

If you are to deny all passages on Spiritual except those that came directly from Jesus, then you would have to exclude a large %age of what we know as Christianity. If you exclude everything except what Jesus said personally, then you have no foundation to believe Jesus is the Son of God. Most of what we believe about Jesus comes not only from HIs words, but the words of eyewitnesses of Jesus' life. Should we pick and choose what part of the bible to believe? Shouldn't it be all or none?

I at no time said that the old testament has no merit, but it is not the foundation on which our Christian values are to be based. Remember, in the old testament the Jews were not concerned with passing on their beliefs to other peoples, their concern was about establishing a nation. You need to show us where in the Gospel, Jesus concerned Himself with people's sexuality. Therefore, the premise on which Pastor Parsley and others have established themselves is false. Jesus' teaching is based on love and forgiveness which is shown by the heart, not on who someone's sexuality!

Jesus did teach to OBserve all that He commanded. Jesus also did not address homosexuality personally. However, Jesus did, quite often, quote the Old Testament and exhort His followers to believe all that was written. He mentioned Moses' writings quite a bit. So, if Jesus upheld heterosexuality as He did in Matthew 19: 4-6, isn't the end result of that message against homosexuality in its logical conclusion?

I do believe Jesus is the fulfilment of the law, therefore if that's the case the whole purpose of Jesus and what Pastor Parsley and others have been preaching 'UNDER GRACE' is therefore a contradiction to Jesus' teaching. Wanting to share your life with someone, whether or not they can have sex. That is sexuality! Jesus did not speak to heterosexuality, but rather RESPONDED to a question having to do with divorce. Jesus was speaking to the cultural viewpoint held by the Jewish people, not affirming sexuality. What about other cultures? Why you think Peter asked the question about putting a yoke around the necks of the gentiles that their forefathers failed to endure, Jesus love surpasses sexuality.

All you got to do call him gay, and he takes offense and calls you gay.

If one extends his argument of relgious freedom, then we should allow female circumsision, Sharia Law for muslims in Western countries etc. Freedom of speech always has to be balanced by the protection of oppressed minorities, and nowhere has this man sought a compromise in this legislation - he has only sought to quash it and keep LGBT people down.
