Back to the Future 4 could be a prequel in like 1975 with young Marty and Doc with future Marty's letter! Marty could be digging through Doc's stuff, and find the letter and ask Doc what it is then Doc would be like "DON'T TOUCH THAT MARTY! IT'S VERY IMPORTANT!" and stuff like that.

Easy. From 2015 (a version of it that looks like it did in BTTF2) Doc Brown and sons took a trip to 1985. While they were there, someone used information from their time to invent the World Wide Web (there was no internet in the 2015 predicted in BTTF2). This caused progress to accelerate unnaturally in the field of information technology, but almost grind to a halt in every other sector. When Doc & sons return to 2015, they find themselves in OUR reality, and they have to fix the timeline.

what i think is funny is that in 1985, they though 2015 was gonna have flying cars and stuff. 2015 is in 5 years. i don't think we'll have that. maybe some new cell phones, but not flying cars.

Theoretically, I think if they made a trailer for BTTF 4, [which unforutately, I don't see a 4th happening:( ] they wouldn't pay any attention to that "powerful car" that was totally DERSTROYED in the previous installment!

Technology is important, but a 4th movie would need to have concentration on it's characters; just as the previous BTTF films have accomplished. Unfortunately, I don't see Michael J Fox doing a 4th.

Characters are what makes a movie, not machines.

Doc remade the timemachine. If you went on the BTTF Ride ( when it was open).Doc made a few time traveling deloreans, but yeah i dont think a 4th would happen.

Well the back to the future movies belong in the past where most of them were made in the 80's and part 1 and 2 had that good old 80's feel with some of there music. all 3 films were so very well done, but with today's special effects a part 4 would just be spoil the series.
