@Shropshireladdie Yeah, it's just hard to get all three of us together for long enough to rehearse and record them. There will be future songs comming up though!
I also love to hear traditonal songs that have traveled to the states. Like 'Georgie' and 'Soldiers return' / 'Blue eyed stranger'
We just get together for our own entertainment. Every sunday we all head over to Mom & Dads and have a bit of a sing song. We'll hopefully be uploading some more soon.
Lovely harmonisation and good pace for this well known old rural folksong. We used to sing it in the early 50's at my school in the days we were allowed to have our own English culture.
@slobjob13 I hope this happens, because it is the only way to keep our unique, much reviled ( by our own 'liberal'elite) heritage.Stragely enough most outsiders support us in our quest to retain our culture, and it is only our 'representatives' who are determined to crush it by any means.
Very Cool guys

Wonderful... I love these trad songs that start in Great Britain, go across the pond and change in Appalachia.
Odetta does The Fox Went A Hunting in the more typical American 60's folk style. I love both UK and US versions.
You guys are stunning, where do you normally perform?

The voices that made and sang this song in the past are counting on you to pass it on to future generations. NEVER LET THE MUSIC DIE!
