i wasn't born in the wrong century...i rather have the chance to hear this kind of songs in medieval fairs than being in the 15th century full of hunger and not listening to this at all! The 1st song in the vid is called, afaik, "Herr Olof", and is supposedly a traditional Swedish tune (as far as Brana Keterna mentions it on their webpage, they've played their own arrangement of this tune as well)

@TheFieryHawk it might remind some people of the game, but that isn't really a bad thing, in fact the game Skyrim is heavily based on medieval Norse culture, the music, the architecture, and the myths. So in a way, the music reminding people of a game isn't a bad thing. The people playing it just don't realize that the game actually has some historical value.

I don't see why people feel the need to be smart alecky about how conditions were poor when others express a desire to live in the Middle Ages. I think a desire to live in another time period stems from a fascination with people and cultures of the past; we enjoy learning about them so much that we wish we could experience them for ourselves. It doesn't mean that we're blind to the negative aspects of that time period; it just means we're especially drawn to the good ones.
