man that looks and sounds perfect, just wanted to ask if the suspension has been modified, it looks to be sitting low, just perfect in any case.Or the angle on the stand, or the seat? beautiful bike anyways, gotta get one! cheers
When I brought my Bonnie a few weeks back. The sales guy said that for the difference in price you could buy a lot of other accessories to trick up your machine. I can't for the life of me understand whey they didnt' put a tacho or centre stand on the standard Bonnie.
They didn't add those accessories because it would drive up the price of the Bonneville. If you wanted that stuff, then you should've bought the T100.
how about the lesser-known royal enfield constellation?
at the time of it's release, it was the fastest production bike available (or at least, i'm pretty sure it was).... fairly poor sales led to it being used as a sidecar mule eventually (because of the power). great bike though.
my uncle has had a 750 bonneville from brand new, over 30 years. he knows her inside out. he strips her to bones avery few years, and she's immaculate. a dream to ride. howevr, she's tempremental. you need to treat it right or it sulks. just put a whole new wiring loom in and she seems alot better now, and much more relaible too
personnel question, how tall are you? just that im 6'1" and worried i'd make the bike look small. Hard to tell, but from your vid, you look taller than me and the bike looks well proportioned
Y'know, I was thinkin'. Maybe Triumph could offer a low-cost Bonny with a 650cc and kick-start (with an electric back-up, of course), sell the hell out of 'em for about $6gs (or maybe less) and give H-D a run for the money! The only question would be is could you get enough power out of such an engine to make the bike a decent performer?

It's simple, cheap, and easy to maintain. I've got 23,000 miles on mine so far, and I couldn't ask for a much better bike.

So those are the thruxton pea shooters eh? The racing ones, or stock thruxton? Are the pegs still there or not?
Hefty1468 3 years ago
No, they are British Customs Predators. Pillion's pegs are still intact.
regal403 3 years ago
What kind of pipes are those? Do you have a link to where you bought them from? How much?
kokomocreek 3 years ago
They are British Customs Predators, as evidenced by the video information. They were installed when I bought the bike.

do tehy get in the way of the passenger's steps?
sstatum 4 years ago
Nope. They bolt to the passenger footpeg mounts.
regal403 3 years ago
Did you also remove the airbox? I'm thinking about getting predators for my T100. They sound better than an other exhaust i've heard for the bonnies.
hawkinskev 4 years ago
Nope, haven't removed that just yet.
