When I first found out about Phantom and Kurt (didn't know their techniques though), I was about lvl 53 and I went straight to Kurt Zisa first and got pwned by his spinny swords and his no-magic rule. So I tried this boss, and I killed it on my first try. Now I want to battle it again. So much fun!

What happens when you attack the clock?

@21Kronos Nothing happens if you attack it with the KeyBlade. Cast STOP, STOPRA or STOPGA to make time stop, making an effect on the phantom's Doom Spell. Doom only works if the clock is ticking. If it starts moving again, cast STOP as usual. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

i beat kurt ziza and ice titan in the lower levels (60 to 70) and after i got to lv 100 (i did hades cup like ten times) sephiroth was a piece of cake, but even at level 99 phantom was near impossible for me to beat. i beat him with one second over my head and one hp left :(

you had to keep track of the clock and of the phantom the clock could kill you if let the arms rolling so you had to use stop to freeze it and the phantom was at your neck trying to kill you

Casting Aeroga seemed to repel the Phantom's poisonous spell... Donald kept casting it on me & it worked =P Phantom & Kurt Zisa (as well as Ice Titan) seemed to be of equal strength to me cuz they all needed a certain strategy to follow. The one that's just a pain in the ass was Sephiroth xD

man i was so worried about my teammates dying from that clock thing so i kept casting stopra every 30 seconds I AM NOT KIDDING i did do that until i ran out of magic then i waited for the phantom to hit me then i repeat the process. I only attaked the phantom if he got near me or it was yellow/white. I left the rest to my teammates XD. Anyways i was level 71 when i beat phantom and my defense/mp/hp/strength wasnt as good as yours and i didnt have ultima weapon

I thought kurt zisa and ice titan are equal. Ice titan only took 1 try and kurt zisa took 100 tries althoguth each lasted about 10 minutes and ice titan was 5 hours...I think i thought ice titan was easy because i defeated kurt zisa when i was about 69 and ice titan at 87 or something. Plus ice titan took me forever BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU HAD TO JUMP ON HIS HAND that was FREAKIN ANNOYING!

instead of donald put goofy in. teach him mp gift. turn all other abilities off. you have nearly unlimited mp. now for the clock. start the battle focusing on the clock. when stopped, attack the phantom appropriatly. when he goes to the clock tower, recast stop so the hands never stop moving. also consider using some hi-potions and/or elixers

Doesn't matter what weapon you have. It all comes down to strategy. Learn the Phantoms attack patterns and how to deal with them. Thats what it comes down too. GO FOR IT!

Let me make it clear, it's NOT as easy as it appears. I came at Lv60 to fight this guy with Oathkeeper and was beasted! I mean, he murdered us! He took Peter Pan's soul and finished me off with that will-o-wisp thing followed by a scratch attack. He flies around constantly so my magic kept missing. Maybe I was seriously underleveled, but this guy was harder to me than dragon Maleficent.

this guy is a pain in the ass fighting him. u will need to cast spells constantly. when his heart is yellow colour, cast lightning, red-fire, bule-ice,white-melee attack. when he cast the death spell on someone, u will have to cast the stop spell on the clock tower. a long battle though.....put donald in

confirmation by me on Kurt Zisa. I didnt seal the keyhole in Hollow Bastion -was during 1st trip- and I fought Kurt Zisa in the desert. So Kurt Zisa is possible to fight before Sealing Hollow Bastian. Everyone else you do need to seal that keyhole.

The heavier damage is caused by myself. I sacrificed shield at the very beginning, so I came with crappy defense, under 50. While in this video, the DEF is already above 50.

The Phantom is actually hard when you consider that you have to do everything right. Kurt meanwhile can catch you off guard, but if you stick to the same formula with the Phantom, you can beat him 100% of the time. Kurt used to be considered the easiest final boss but the Phantom only because you had to keep an eye on the clock and make sure PEter Pan and Goofy didn't get sentenced to oblivion.

Phantom is ALREADY accessible BEFORE I can go to Hollow Bastion for the first time! When I returned to Neverland to get Aerora, I found Tink was already in the save room as an access to fight Phantom!

I didn't fight him, anyway, in that time.

To upgrade your Aero into Aerora, go back to Neverland after you get the Yellow Trinity ability (finish all of the colosseum cups). Use it at the door with that trinity, and you'll get it.

For Aeroga, collect ALL of the dalmatians.

Of course you can get Stopga after defeating Phantom!

But, if you missed Stopra, you need to go to 100 Acre Wood and finish the minigame "Pooh's Swing". You'll get it eventually.

I beat Phantom at level 83. Kurt got his ass kicked when I was at level 86. I shrunk Ice Titan at level 88. Ice Titan fight was rather brutal for me (a little harder) although I successfully defeated him. All done in Normal, haven't tried Expert.
