Nice alternative take I've heard for the first time. This record is really a "changing of the guard" in Whiteman's band. The "old guard" Henry Busse takes a beautiful muted first chorus, with Bix closing it out. With Whiteman writing in Bix on scores originally written for Busse, he felt betrayed by his long time friend and left the band in early 1928. This recording was made in Chicago's Orchestra Hall in November of 1927.
Nice Lo-Fi. Sounds like it's been de-noised.
