Skylines arent popular drift cars, especially when compared to the hachi and 240sx. A skyline R32 GTS in average condition in the U.S. can cost anywhere from 15-20k. Why spend that when you can get a fucking 240sx for 2k in the same condition.
If you want to drift yourself, I would suggest finding a mountain road or a highway and just start pulling the ebrake up to loosen the traction. This will make the car slide around at which point you control it by turning the wheel THE OPPOSITE way than the way you want to go (to make the car turn.

Four wheel drive cars like the STi, Evo, and Skyline, are not the best of choice for drifting because the drivetrain's main focus is to grip. It is possible to drift with a variable center differential but the drift is not as extreme.

To start out, you'll really want something that is easy to drive and drift at the same time. Many people now are trying to drift American cars but they are really not as good for this sport (IM NOT DISSING AMERICAN CARS I HAVE A NEW PONTIAC GTO AND CORVETTE AS MY DAILY DRIVER OK, AND I AGREE THEY ARE MUCH BETTER AT STREET RACING AND OTHER THINGS, just NOT drifting,Many popular drift cars are the NISSAN SKYLINE, Toyota Supra, Honda Integra (yes honda, in japan acura cars are made by honda)

HAHAHA!!!! INTEGRA!!!! and you daily drive a GTO and Corvette? how much damn money you making? look, we all like to dream sometimes but just keep it to yourself. Skylines arent popular drift cars, especially when compared to the hachi and 240sx. A skyline R32 GTS in average condition in the U.S. can cost anywhere from 15-20k. Why spend that when you can get a fucking 240sx for 2k in the same condition.

If you want to drift yourself, I would suggest finding a mountain road or a highway and just start pulling the ebrake up to loosen the traction. This will make the car slide around at which point you control it by turning the wheel THE OPPOSITE way than the way you want to go (to make the car turn.

OK for those of you who DONT KNOW, this is called drifting and it is the new motorsport/stunt technique fresh outta Japan. I have been drifting for about 4 years and I think I should explain some things to the newbies. The best drift cars are the rally cars like the sTI and the Mitsubishi Lancer, and other Japanese supercars such as a the Hachirocku (Toyota) and the Silvia (Nissan). This sport is so popular because the cars are easy to afford and it is VERY flashy.

really? 4 years? and evos and STI's are the best? I wasn't gonna say anything but anybody that knows anything about drifting knows that AWD cars can only drift good in the rain, there really is no car that is the best, but some of the real good ones are the silvia S15, RX-7, and Z33 (350z for you retards) Oh, and since when did a hachi classify as a fucking supercar? It's a 20 year old light weight, low-class sports car, not a supercar. Same with the silvia only it's newer.

350z?? YEAH OK. I notice you didn't put your Camaro up there. You put every car up there BUT the 2 best for drifting by Japanese Pro drifters and US drifters alike, the s13, and the AE86. STOP hating, dude. Admit when ur wrong. The s15 is good, the rx7 is too short chassised and the 350z isn't used as much as the hachi and the 240sx. The Silvia is a supercar in the latest rendition. That turbocharged beast would eat the latest Camaro that's for sure.

omg, you are the fucking retard here, i wasnt hating on the S13 or the Hachi or any shit, you need to calm the fuck down. they are both nice cars, but i dont see people in D1 drift them as good as they do S15's or 350's. i never said anything about them being slow or shit, they just arent 'supercars'. there is a fucking difference between a supercar and a sports car. example, a McLaren F1 is a supercar, a mustang is a sports car. a ferrari enzo is a supercar, a silvia is a sports car.
