@SonyPlaystationNL that's right there were lots of kings, kings everywhere, in that time. and on top of that kings are mentioned everywhere in all of God's holy books, Qur`an, Zabur, Injil, and God did not say kings are haram. God spoke against Pharoah because he opposed a holy prophet and opposed belief, not because he was a king. Why did Prophet (s) tell some Sahaba to go to a good king for safety? Democracy is not a part of any religion, it's a human creation. God likes kings.

@sabaqat Because Allah is the King! And we got Khilafah but we dont have kings... There is no such thing in islam as that we got a king and his firstborn is our next leader that is not Islam. But we had leaders like the Sahaba they choose eachother as leader for the ummah after Prophet (SAW) death. So conclusion there is no such thing as Kingship in Islam between people.

Prophet (s) himself said a great army would take Istanbul... the army he praised had a king. Why doesn't Allah say "president"? There is one khalifa and the others at any time are princes, kings. Allah refers to some people as kings, without criticizing monarchy

I don't know. Saudi arabia is a Wahhabi country but it is a kingdom. Ahlus Sunnah scholars accept monarchy too. Everybody knows that it was only in the last couple hundred years that countries started to do democracy, other than the greeks long ago

lol actually it is customary in Islamic culuture that elders be respected and allowed entrance in accordance. CLEALRY the KING here is the higher authority and should be the first to enter the motorcade or plane, (with the exception of armed protective services of course) so hence the slap, to remind the fellow that he should FOLLOW rather than LEAD.
