In the original story, Jason was supposed to have died, and his mom went on an insane killing rampage. Then in the sequel, they changed the story to where he secretly lived. Then he died and, once again, they changed the story! They made him an immortal monster. Then, in The Final Friday, they made it so he had been resurrected by the necronomicon, hence the eventual confrontation with Ash in the comic.
Weather you like the re-makes or not, they are necessary keeping the legacy of these characters alive. Where would the Universal Monsters be without constant sequals & Re-makes? Huh?

well part 4 back int he day was amrketed as the final friday film, even though it wasn't which is why it's sub title is the "final chapter, he took a machete to the face at the end of the film.
He got his mask cut on by the Machette. He then got a machette lodged in his head by Tommy Jarvis which went strait through his left eye. he fell on it and it ripped his face apart. the machette then fell out. He was still moving so tommy picked it up and massacerd him with it with repeated blows to the back which killed him.

Friday The 13th The actual original film, will always be the best. I dont't care about this remake. I can guarantee you its going to suck; they don't need to remake good movies! you're right. all i do know is that they're making a movie in which not only jason's mom has to do a killing spree but jason comes to life and grows from a kid to a grown man and gets his hands on a hockey mask ALL in one movie. now there have been remakes in the past that have completely butchered great movies. this new friday the 13th better not dissapoint me.

Nobody was "dissing" it. Just obviously this isn't a remake of that first story. I think you need to say more that there are elements from 1, 2 and 3 into one movie rather than it is a remake of 1, 2 and 3 unless this movie is going to be about 5 hours long. All fans of the series were questioning is why we were seeing JASON as an adult and the hockey mask if this is A REMAKE of "Friday the 13th." I was sort of hopeful to see this because Marcus Nispel is the director, but now I don't know.

Friday The 13th The actual original film, will always be the best. I dont't care about this remake. I can guarantee you its going to suck; they don't need to remake good movies! Why not remake some other stupid 80's movie. Then again; pretty much every 80's movie was great. I don't care if they were cheesy; they were great! Classics forever.

Well let me say that there are some decent films (dead silence was decent). Maybe not good but decent. Although 'R' rating usualy means it'll be good doesn't mean it'll be good with the story. Such as Thirteen Ghosts. Just because it "sounds good" isn't entirely the case. Point being I wouldn't exclude ALL PG-13 movies.

She did forget to say been to hell. But Jason Goes To Hell totally sucked. So did Jason X. I'm not a space movie fan at all!!! And Jason was only in "Goes to Hell" for like 10 minutes total.
