@suppokemon get a figting type or the 5th gym will kick your ass. you can trade a slakoth in the first city for a makuhita that way it gains boosts and you can train it up quick with an exp. share. and youll need an electric type for the 6th and 8th gyms. manetric or magneton for that. magneton has better special attack but wont learn thunder or crunch which manetric will. good luck!

I need help. I'm coming up to the 4th gym and I have a Lombre which is obviously my grass/WATER type and it doesn't learn a waer move until level 49. How do i teach it a water move for the gym? Please help!

i beat her team with a lv 28 tentacool, bubblebeam killed slugma in 2 turns, same with the 2nd

slugma and then bubble beam killed torcoal in 3 turns because my tentacool doesnt have a

sp. atk raising nature

BTW, it is recomended to get an Aron when you can. The torkoal has nothing on an Aron. It will take awhile to kill it, but the Torkoal cannot hit you after it uses its overheat.

The first time I played this game, I beat flannery, I was down to my last pokemon and when I killed her torkoal, I had 1 HP left, and when I left the gym and saw may I was like "oh no, my grovile's almost dead and he's my only pokemon. I can't battle may!" so I restarted my game and it wasn't until after I restarted my game that may doesn't battle you so I had to battle flannery AGAIN. Oh, I was so mad.

Easiest gym ever. Killed both slugma's no prob with bubble beam and then sacrificed Tentacool and knocked Torkoal out with a magnitude 9 :3

the great thing about using tentacool in this battle, it has great sp. def, so overheat is also not very effective so it doesn't do too much hopefully.

1st gen: water turtle, squirtle, not too odd. 3rd gen: fire turtle. 4th gen: grass turtle?!

@BOOST15673 I've tried it once, it's a great way to get three super elites on your team, but the problem is that if you dont choos the right pokemon you won't have a good enough balance, for example, if he were to face a good team of water/ice types, he would have no defense against that.
