Superb! As good , or even better than  the Karajan/Berlin Phil version on DG. sd goh (malaysia)

@301250 Probably better than Karajan with Berlin. Only rarely, do I hear Brahms played so exquisitely well. Von Dohnanyi is perhaps the only other living conductor who could match this interpretation.

no no no, how can a tv-production destroy this fabulous orchestra? bad production, bad microphones, bad camera. i don't recognise this orchestra

Really top notch playing. Jansons is great and the orchestra sounds fabulous.
