    YAY..

Lucky me because its a jumping off point TO

    JUKEBOX Hero...

    LUUUURRRVE it

  • ooooooooooooooooohhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 LOVE!!FOREIGNER

  • 8 dislikes couldn't see what their love has done to them.

  • Well produced album. Amazing how successful they were with just a few albums. Great songs.

  • Reminds me of high school, & getting ready on one of those cold Chicago mornings.

  • Sounds like a Partridge Family song.

  • Great song.

  • I'd love to hear Jorn Lande covering this one.

    Foreigner are amazing!

  • i saw them Saturday there were playing with journey n night ranger they were really good n it was a sold out show

  • Lou Gramm is the best!

  • SEEING FOREIGNER, JOURNEY, AND NIGHT RANGER SEPTEMBER 10TH!!!!!!!!!! Row 22 aisle seats on the floor!!!!!!!!

  • @Tiger21SoN All fake front men.

  • "No we wont have our own little ways" should be "now we both have our own little ways"

And "my ways are cut through men" should be "my ways I've tried to mend"

    Just sayin....

  • @warthog548 I guess it all comes down to not having the lyrics on the inner sleeve of the album. I think it's the only Foreigner original material album not to.

  • @warthog548 it's actually "I know we both have our own little ways"...but yeah...how can you put up one of the greatest rock songs and not make sure you have the right lyrics? that's just embarrassing

  • coke lines off the dashboard :P

  • @XXWHOTHEHELLCARESXX ah, you too?? epic :p

  • easily My favorite FOREIGNER SONG!!!!!

  • No blue mornings . I just sleep in!!!! sleep it off lou. Women are a pain in the ass!!

  • can't think of another band with so many incredible songs!!! Seriously think about it. And don't forget about some of Lou Gramm's songs that he recorded on his own. Best in the business by far.

  • Foreigner hit #15 in Billboard, 3-3-79. God bless ya, brother Lou Gramm. Thanx, Sash, for postin' it.

  • blue morning, blue day

    i hate these

    new blue lenses

  • @towerengi23 Maybe it's just the Viagra.

  • Funny that after not hearing this song for 30 years, the lyrics are automatically at my lips as the song plays.... Classic band, one my favorites.

  • awsome song Love playing it on rockband

  • Great music has a universal appeal...whether u r male or female.

Foreigner has a very distinct style and sound and pulled me through some bad times as well as the awesome parties.....cheers, :)

  • This video has been chosen for May 16, 2011 post on Facebook page: Random Daily Classic Rock Song

  • Upon hearing the beginning of this song for the first time, my 7 year old thought it was from Plants vs Zombies. After the song ended, he said, "Actually... that was way better than Plants vs Zombies."

  • @sweetestgurl4u2luv I know Foreigner has attracted a stronger female audience with these two songs but sadly lost some of their male fans with these two songs

  • probably my favorite FOREIGNER SONG

  • This might just be my favorite FOREIGNER song

  • One of the first records (you know kids, those plastic frizbee looking things that you see in museums) I ever bought. Played the shite out of it! This song brings back a lot of memories.

  • made back in the day when artists like this had albums under their belt and were still making albums that you ACTUALLY wanted to buy-can't say that about today's music!

  • Went #15 on the Billboard Top 100 in the Winter of 1979, IMO this song should have made it to the Top 10

  • Great song, I wish that Foreigner would have kept on making songs like this instead of stuff like "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "Waiting For a Girl Like You"

  • My album cover may be faded after 30 years, but it is purplish on the front a rust orange on the back.

  • I think the end of Supertramp's The Logical Song resembles this song.

  • In Soviet Russia the Foreigner is you!

  • Damn, I love me some Foreigner!!!! Anytime I hear any of their songs it takes me back to softball camp in the early 80's when we blasted it in our cabin. That's when my love affair with Foreigner began.

  • This album had slightly different album covers. Some had a green tinge, some had a bluish gray tinge. I think there were one ore two more color variations.

  • My album cover may be faded after 30 years, but it is purplish on the front a rust orange on the back.

  • @unravelled1962 It is pretty much the same riff. The Beatles had a song where they say Good morning that sounds a lot like Blue Morning in this song too.

  • love the solo

  • great band , one of the very best , thank God for them

  • bradchaz, you would be correct. 1st verse... 3rd line incorrect also. Just saying

  • foreigner has always been one of my old favorites, bloody blue memories !!!! a bit avatar..

  • Ukrainian too. This video is now a ukrainian pride conference.

  • how come every time i smoke a joint on youtube i end up here? this exact spot.

  • @Alphabex8 Because,It's obvious, you have a style and grace uncomparable to others....just as Ronnie James Dio sang in '77 "Long Live Rock n Roll"

  • @kurt6274 wow, thanks for the compliment. you've got a point though; some music will never die.

  • @Alphabex8 Probably because you're a stoner.

  • @tryithere well, duh.

  • @Alphabex8 Can't argue with that reply. LOL

  • @Alphabex8...Just shut up & pass it already!

  • Isn't the first line of the 2nd verse, "I've always listened to your point of view, my ways I've tried to mend?"

  • YEAH THIS KICKS ASS

  • Back in October of 1979 our school bus had an 8 track player and the first kid on the bus everyday was this dude named Rodney, and everyday he was equipped with the Double Vision 8 track. He brought it every day so now I can't hear this song without thinking of those cold mornings in Miamisburg, Ohio. Great song though, and a must have album. I was just checking out an aircheck from some Minneapolis rock station from 1979 and they were playing Tramontane on the radio!

  • @shelly10538

What a great story! It's funny, that's about the same time and place, (school bus radio), where I fell in love with Foreigner! Cold New Jersey mornings for me though, HA! Getting a contact high from all the pot and the bus driver just looking the other way.... ah... good times...

    Good on ya, brother...

  • @Paganguy1 im from N.J too and i had the same thing on my bus.everyone was stoned, and thats where i first heard alot of the music that i still listen to today.

  • @jp0000000 So it's not just me that they were big among stoners back then? Strange when you think about it but I associate Foreigner with the smell of weed smoke.

  • @shelly10538 Foreigner did indeed get heavy airplay in Minneapolis back in those days. I think they were huge among a certain sort of hard rocker at the time.

  • @williamensign. ha ha. plus its my ways i've tried to mend

  • 80's the best!!!

  • My favorite Foreigner song. Wasnt on greatest hits album i had, so i didnt overplay it, neither did the radio.

  • Man I sure miss the 80s, I will give anything to go back in time!

  • foreigner when they were still good before they sold out !!!! They were great

  • well at least they havent fucked with this song yet

  • Thank you rock 105!

  • Brilliant songwriting!

  • @ScorpioBornin69 Peace, Scorpio.

  • This is how I feel at 6-7 am every Monday morning. It is the Monday blues that make me feel that way.

  • This was my theme when I got stood up at the prom in high school and got wasted that night... But I still love this song nonetheless!

  • @ihatelife14529 I know EXACTLY how you feel. I feel like I don't belong in this generation at all. All of today's music and TV shows don't relate to me whatsoever. But music from the 70s and 80s, and cartoons from the 90s (LOVE classics like Loony Tunes and Tom & Jerry also) are my all-time favorites. If I could go back in time and live in any of those generations, my life would be so much better and more entertaining.

  • @ShadowSiren45 I feel that exact same way! I feel that I don't fit in with both the music and television shows out on the airways today and not to mention the kids and young adults under 30 today. NO RESPECT!

  • I've always loved this one.

It SOUNDS just like a PROCOL HARUM tune.

A wonderful Heavy hook with dark chords.

    :-)

  • Foreigner was the best rock band of the 70's and saved those of us who despised the disco abomination. I do believe they went pop at the end though. "I Wanna Know What Love Is" was straight off the pop music assembly line. So I ignore that version of Foreigner and listen to their golden age music.

  • Double Vision was a Classic 1978 Album and Blue Morning, Blue Day was among the Best from Foreigner. I still have my mint condition album!

  • @CorporalPitts I see only 3, 4 songs loaded from this album. There are two other tunes I like and they are 'Spellbinder' and 'Lonely Children'. Forgotten and underrated.

  • @CorporalPitts Then you didn't play it much.

  • @tryithere I have play it many times. Still in Mint Condition!

  • killer tune

  • Just saw them in concert. They didn't play this song....but still awesome.. Kelly Hansen can deliver the vocals. Didn't know what to expect without Lou Gramm....but truly enjoyable!!!

The man can sing and the band can rock!!!

  • Great band;Lou Gramm had a super voice,Mick Jones had great vision and chord selection and Dennis Elliot was a great drummer for a time when speed wasn't necessarily the key to everything.I miss this band when they were in their prime.

  • Music needs to go backwards 'till it was like this...

  • Love Foreigners....

  • I love the song! Unfortunatly, where I live, I'm considered a "Hippie" for listening to this. I love the songs, but the hippie names are getting old.(In other words, my name IS NOT SUNSHINE!!!!)

  • These guys were craftsman. People don't construct songs like Foreigner did anymore. It's a lost art. They put a lot of love into the song structure and the mixing of it all in the studio. Thanks for sharing. Takes me back to middle school when music meant everything.

  • @stilllife3569 Yeah buddy! We used to buy albums and sit around and LISTEN. There was no filler material. We looked at the cover art and inserts. It was the saturday event. Music today is background noise. Everything is disposable. This is timeless stuff here!!!

  • @stilllife3569

U said it man, that's why Mick Jones is on my list of 5 favorit guitarists-he is a music genius along with Ritchie Blackmore etc.

  • to deathcloud33

..vocals bit boring ?? please don't forget that Lou Gramm is considered as one of the best voices for the last 30 years !!!!!

  • Yeah, it sounds nice, but it's still boring.

  • @feargal75 Amen. he's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The line is, "know we both have our own little ways"

  • dio ntravaglia

  • balh

  • Sasha man thats such a cool name but this is easly foreigners best song i think with urgant and juke box hero right behind.

  • I'm Ukrainian, its a boys name for Ukrainians haha. I got those songs uploaded too, check them out if you feel like it :)

  • Love Foreigner!!

  • Agreed. Foreigner IS classic rock!

  • @Sash5034 i like ukraian, relly i love cossaks

  • @Sash5034 Awesome band. One of the best ever. Thanks for posting, Sasha.

  • right on ,been into foreigner since the begining.this song brings back so many good time growing up in detroit.seen then in aug,for free downtown jason bonham on drums and they had a diff singer but still sound good

  • @Lawmaker58 my name is sasha

  • @Lawmaker58 its know we both have are own little ways moron

  • @Lawmaker58 Long, Long Way From Home is another excellent song...

I blame Supernatural for that one, though.

  • @KingTrueBaby Totally!!!!! Supernatural used to play only the best of the classics, sadly, since Sera took over and has put so much more funding towards the gruesome props they no longer have the budget to pay the royalties for the songs we love. Maybe she'll bring it back, we need more Foreigner, Leppard, AC/DC, all of it!

  • @Lawmaker58 i think he just meant to upload foreigner album by album he just probably wanted to upload double vision before 4

  • Foreigner is such a great band.

  • One of my all time favorite Foreigner Hits!

  • my orchestra class is playing this song with mark wood!!!!

  • Wow, another fond memory... Thanks. Under-rated band, under-rated song. I had forgotten just how talented these guys were.

  • Awesome song.......

  • LOVE this tune...thank you Sash!

  • My couson dated one of Foreigner.

Foreigner was my 1st favorite band!

  • Third hit off the second album, in my opinion just as good or better than Double Vision or Hot Blooded. Great rockin tune from Jan 79.

  • i saw them live at augusta ME the other day, they rock

  • Maroon5 stoll the riff from this on "not coming home"

  • my mom was listenin to this in the car the otha day and i was all "man, this is freakin good!" haha.

and thus began my obsession wit this song.

    =)

  • one of the best by the band, and yeah Im pretty tired of having great rock anthems on my pc with some video game crap strapped to it

  • Thankyou So Much!!! Now I Don't Have To Watch That Stupid Anime Version Anymore!!!! HOORAYYY!! I Have A Burnt Cd With This Song As Every Other Track! ha

  • I have this, too! In fact, I first bought this on vinyl!

  • Wow! Thirty years ago I bought this on vinyl.

  • 8-trac..

  • Right on!! I Still have it too!~peace~
