We invent "mental idols" that we go on believing from when we were taught these idols as childen. Is it any wonder that mystical texts such as the Gospel of Thomas say that 'those nursing babies are like those who will reach the Kindom of Heaven' (a mind state IMHO ...not a location as Christianity says)
