They keep separate from the ungodly world as did Noah and many other prophets in the bible. READ John 17:14. Jehovah's Witnesses follow EXACTLY THE BIBLE. They do serve Christ our Lord. Matthew 4:17 is when Jesus started preaching. He taught his disciples to preach in Matthew chapter 10. Matthew 10:14 tells them to go house to house. Matthew 24:14 says this good news of the kingdom will be preached..."
Jesus told his disciples to make disciples at Matt: 28:19,20,"... make disciples..."
What normal non-JW's don't understand is that JW's can identify each other by their language alone. They have certain words and a dilect which sort of makes them a culture of their own.
@MsAgnosticatheist Not only that; they have questions designed to inform them how strong or weak you are when you visit another hall: "Which hall do you go to? How many publishers are in your congregation? Who's your PO?"
I said I'd never go back to meetings so an Elder came to see me for a 'social visit'. Wasn't long before I was asked why I'm 'spiritually low'. Spirituality has a barrometer now? It was torture but I have asked that no one comes back! Were you sick of the cliches too?
That's how it looks to me Joe, though I may be wrong. When you connect all the dots, it spells MOTHER and mother is the only source of salvation.
"If we were to draw away from Jehovah's organization, there would be no place else to go for salvation" (Watchtower Society, Watchtower Magazine, September 15, 1993, p. 22).
Were in the bible says that god has a mother??? " I am the alpha and the omega , the beginning and the end, who is and who was and who is to come says god ". Revelation 1:8 read the bible people dont just believe what your preacher says god dont have a mother before him there was nothing. mary was a human just like you and me.
You're playing on words Propaganda. Motherly was used to define caring as a mother for her child. That has nothing to do with Mary. You're raising a cult, by your, "play on words".
You're trapped into believing that the organization (MOTHER) is the only place for salvation. Christ has been erased through subtle propaganda:
"If we were to draw away from Jehovah's organization, there would be no place else to go for salvation" (Watchtower Society, Watchtower Magazine, September 15, 1993, p. 22)..
"If we were to draw away from Jehovah's organization, there would be no place else to go for salvation" (Watchtower Society, Watchtower Magazine, September 15, 1993, p. 22).
@MangaArtist2010 I refer to them as a DESTRUCTIVE cult because they meet all the criteria used to trap people inside of the "society." They have secret meetings called "judicial committee meetings" where they find ways to kick you out if you do not cooperate with them. They have secret books and letters only privileged members have access to. There are hundreds of reasons. If you watch my other 295 videos, you'll get a better idea.
but the truth is...organized religion just keeps doing the same thing over and over...the same old false doctrines, teachings, and false god and goddesses over and over...through symbols and idols.
I was a JW for fifteen years and left when I discovered they were using propaganda tricks on our minds. The user TimKilgore convinced me to learn about "logical fallacies".
Isn`t it interesting How the word to certian songs written by certian bands tell you what going on a global scale.. I don`t know why I couldn`t pick up on this at a younger age? But today it`s hard for me to ingnore the word to these songs after all my research work and studies at a deeper spiritual level of truth..
Catholics believe in the trinity, 3 divine persons in 1 God, jw`s do not, and there baptisms are not valid. Catholics celebrate Christmas, jw`s do not. Catholics fast during lent, jw`s never fast. Catholics say the rosery, a very powerful prayer, jw`s think its a false idol. jw`s are anti-christ cause they do not believe that Jesus is the incarnate word of God made flesh.
Good point, the Orthodox, Christian or otherwise, always have their tricks that can be cloned by the newly arrived upstarts. Any reformist movement will target key points and preserve the bulk of the rest. Just as Greek and Roman teachings exist today but in their modern disguise they look much better.
I have watched several of your videos and have to comment that although I appreciate an analytical approach, I have not been able to discern a rational other than an attempt to damage the integrity of the WBTS. In this video they utilize phraseology to call to mind attributes of maternal love that are also in Jehovahs love too. It has NOTHING to do with Mary
I believe from your presentation you are intelligent so to suggest this is loaded language is a disingenuous interference.
Yeah, and I'm imagining the Watchtower logo being the very crown worn on Artemis of Ephesus' head too.
The WTBS is a cult and anyone that thinks there's integrity in mind control deserves to have their heads spun with cognitive dissonance. Don't expect it of anybody that has any real sense of what real truth is.
I have to disagree truth, my fleshly brother is an elder/regular pioneer serving in a foreign country, and he constantly refers to the WT as "Mother" also, an old elder I know back in the day when I was a quick build overseer used to call the WT "mother". And yes, they are insane!
My point was directed at truthbookblues. More than anything, it is very irritating when folks such as truthbookblues dismiss your very valid points with "I never heard it", as though that makes your statement inaccurate. I didn't intend to lump you in w/ the other commenter
Sorry props but you are not representing the facts straight here. The "Watchtowers" on Artemis' head have nothing to do with the Watchtower logo. You sound like those idiots at Bethel who attach meanings to absolutely nothing in order to support their doctrines. Be honest, you came up with this connection your self. They indicate that the "Heavenly organization" is thier mother, not the earthly watchtower. If you didn't know that before you weren't much of a Witness. Now I have no use for...
their doctrines but we must be honest when exposing them. Yes they use loaded language, but you are the one hammering on mother and making something out of nothing. Not one witness that I knew in 40 years thought of the Watchtower as their mother or referred to it. Do they give too much power to the Gov. Body? Yes. Why be so desperate to make crap up when theres enough out there thats legitimate?
"Not one witness that I knew in 40 years thought of the Watchtower as their mother or referred to it."
Same here. I haven't referred to the WT as "mother" either. I referred to God's heavenly organization which is represented by the FDS here on earth as mother. Their logo is the same logo as what's on top of Artemis of Ephesus' head. Coincidence? Maybe. Deviating from the truth? Not at all. Counsel someone else please. You're no longer an elder and have no authority over me.
I'm not pro watchtower by any means, but you are reaching here. Ascribing motherly qualities to an organization is a metaphor and not an attempt to incite worship. That comes from the other tactic, subimission to the "faithful and disecrete slave". Their statements about a "Motherly" organization relate to the Heavenly administration of affairs on earth today and not simply the Watchtower. Also, that info is so damn old that only the oldest of WT types ascribe to it. This I know.
Find something in a more recent article that still gives such emphasis to the "Mother organization" and the same slant and you've got something. Now, there was worshipful attention afforded Fred Franz, no doubt, just as there is towards Ray Franz as the answer man. Stick with relevant issues without using such a stretch to connect things. You sound like the Watchtower itself, taking pieces here and there and making a case. Keep fighting the battle, just stick to reasonable arguments.
"Ascribing motherly qualities to an organization is a metaphor and not an attempt to incite worship." Let me ask you a simple question, TBB. Does the WTS exact exclusive devotion?
"Find something in a more recent article..."
Are you suggesting that "the truth" of yesteryear is no longer valid?
"...statements about a "Motherly" organization relate to the Heavenly administration of affairs on earth today and not simply the Watchtower."
*** w85 3/15 p. 11 par. 7 Working With the Organizer of All the Universe ***
"...Jerusalem above, the 'mother' of the Christian congregation."
You've mistakenly assumed I referred to the Watchtower as "mother". I didn't. The FDS claim to be the children of "our mother" spoken of by Paul at Ga 4:26. This "mother" is represented by the logo of a Watchtower, the same watchtower that Artemis of Ephesus had on her head. This is what JWs show their exclusive devotion to - a body of false gods.
I understand why people get trapped there... well, actually I don't. I see why children and childlike people, get trapped there, but not how people with any brain function above a 90 IQ. As soon as one is able to do a little critical thinking I don't understand how they would continue with such a group or join in the first place. Really, that goes for all the religions of this earth. They are all wanting. They are all just means to control the lemmings.
Just curious propaganda man, what do you now think of the main doctrinal issues which separate JW's from main-stream Christendom?
What do you think of the trinity, hell-fire, the immortal soul? Do you continue to look to the kingdom as the only true source of relief for humanity? What is the condition of the dead? ... Etc.
I'm really, genuinely interested in your current views, and whether your rejection of JW's means you've also rejected those core doctrinal beliefs?
I think you have a wrong idea about people who leave the Organization! First, once you've found mistakes it's only natural to question them all! That takes years to sift thru that mess! So don't expect you just drop everything or run off to Christendom! The Majority either become atheists or want nothing to do with religious institutions after the WTBS Mill! But he is absolutley correct in there use of propaganda and munipulation of peoples minds! We want Truth, that's why we left it was not there
LOJANOS: Obviously, I can't read hearts, but this guy's story rings phony to me. You wouldn't question it because you agree with his "propaganda". I believe many who leave, and especially those who show up here, are people who got tired of the routine of meetings, assemblies and conventions we JW's keep up as an integral part of our worship. I believe inward feelings of guilt prompt the kinds of attacks you see from people like propanganda-man, as a form of self- justification/vindication.
"I believe inward feelings of guilt prompt the kinds of attacks you see from people like propanganda-man"
Actually Shibboleth, it's inward feelings of guilt being planted in your subconscious mind that cause you to feel you must go bang on doors, condemn your neighbors, sell your house, spend your children's college education and whatever else you do, all in the name of the "kingdom" and it's god, the WTBTS and the FDS.
I can tell you Shib, there was certainly an overwhelming inner feeling of guilt - so much that I knew something was wrong with this group of so called "true Christians".
The most guilt I think I felt was feeling like I was forsaking Christ by following these men who have themselves set up like some kind of larger than life entity. (FDS)
Sorry Shib, I see you've left the building. Cancelling the account was probably best. Your anger was causing you to become less than what the society demands. I hope you do not respond like that at doors.
There is absolutely no organized religious movement which cannot be attacked on some basis. Some of the Jews following Jesus said, "this speech is shocking" in response to his comments about eating his flesh and drinking his blood. 1st century christians were thought of as belonging to a cult, etc.
You say, "we want truth", well I'm absolutely conviced, after more than 30 years studying the Bible and religion in general, JW's have the right view on the trinity, hell-fire, the immortal soul, condition of the dead, the need to preach the kingdom, refraining from involvement in politics and war, the need for regular congregation attendance, .. etc.
Show me a form of worship superior to that of JW's, and I'll be sitting right next to you at their next service!
Also you talk about manipulation of minds, but I can show you a dozen scriptures where Paul and other apostles speak about employing persuasion, reasoning, admonishment, etc.
To cut through the lies, distortions and "teachings of demons" we use these prescibed methods, as a part of our "art of teaching".
So tell me, LOJANOS, if "it's not there", where is it?
First, before you criticize what I'm saying too much, wait for the next video where I will expose the secret author of one of the most recent articles lying to his audience. When lies are being promoted as "truth", I take issue. I'm doing all I can to help ones like you Shibboleth see these things for what they really are - mental maniplation. I don't get paid to do this. I simply care about others. Does the writer playing with your head care about you? Does he even know you?
Prop-man, first off, you sure do like that word "bifurcated", don't ya? You force it in there any time you think you can.
Second, why do you feel individual JW's must personally know members of the Governing body?
Do you think Christians in Galatia knew all the "older men" in Jerusalem back in the 1st century? ... I have met and spoken with several of them, ... So what!
First, the Catholics aren't ruining families. Second, Catholicism is the bottle of poison with the label. "The Truth" as you like to call it is the same poison without the label. Which is more dangerous?
I never saw one of Shazoolo's videos. Thanks. I think I'll go look.
Yes I have found superior teachings in the Bible itself. They are of Jesus Christ and other first century writers. Take 1 Ti 2:5 for instance. The FDS CLASS has you thinking only they benefit by that. You're being lied to.
So, I'll ask you again, what are those teachings? Most of your new friends here promote the trinity, hell-fire, the immortal soul, etc, etc. So why won't you answer me? Besides your hatred for all things JW's, (A huge transformation in only three weeks, ... RIGHT..) what is truth? Tell me, I'm interested.
Shibboleth, is kool-aid still kool-aid if there's a tablespoon of cyanide in it? Apparently you haven't grasped the concept of hypnotic bait and switch. The best way to deceive honest people is with truth. What you said about most of my "new friends here" is another logical fallacy; "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". I don't even know most of the people here, # 1. # 2, neither do you. You assume most here promote these things due to the bifurcated mindset you've been conditioned to have.
You again seem to think the FDS CLASS hold the franchise on these teachings. They don't. The moonies, mormons, 7th day adventists and scientologists all teach some of the very same things, mingled with their own brand of cyanide. What seems to be escaping all this rhetoric is the fact you're the one trapped in a mind controlling cult, not the ones here you think you're reasoning with. We're free, and that's the one thing we have in common here.
If you're counting the time here as field service, Shibboleth, you're in direct violation of your own institutionalized belief system. You're not supposed to be talking to us. We're apostates, remember?
Keep in mind Shibboleth, I'm not the one saying you are not to be talking to us here. The FDS CLASS tells you that so you won't learn the truth of what you're really involved with.
Many of us here are speaking in agreement with Christ himself. Do you remember what Jesus said about that?
(Matthew 18:20) . . .For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.
I know you arethinking that satan also quotes scriptures. But one thing you would do well to ask yourself is this; if following Christ is the ONLY way to truth, what is following the FDS CLASS equated to?
You've been lulled into some false sense of security, thinking you're safe in some kind of "ark" where the lid is now closing. Has it ever occured to you that the "ark" you believe you are so safely sitting in might in all actuality really be the Titanic?
You don't see it, but when someone that keeps his identity secret from you is guiding you as some type of Christ, no good can come out of it, no matter how much truth such an angel of light may be spouting. The voice you follow is only a man.
If the expressions you are following are not coming to you by Christ himself off the written pages of the Bible that God inspired himself, then Shibboleth, what is really inspiring the expressions you are following?
(Revelation 16:14) ". . .They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons. . ."
Throw away your Watchtowers and Awake!s and remain in God's Word only and then you will begin to see clearly.
(John 8:31) . . .If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples,.."
My heart aches more than you know over the lies of the WT and how they stole my sisters heart from her family with their slow deception.
If you place what the bible teaches about salvation next to what the WT teaches about salvation, they are two different things. Therefore no matter what bits of truth are strung into WT teachings to make it believable, it is a false teaching and it will be punished by God.
Please read Luke 21:8. Examine the Witnesses' teachings and see whether the scripture applies. Search the WT library and see how many times that scripture has been commented on.
If it's the truth to you, then by all means you should stick with it. Just make sure that you believe what you think you believe.
I'll follow this comment with a comment from CT Russell.
"Beware of "organization." It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours. Believe and obey so far as you can understand God's Word today."
Both comments are excellent superpunk. Read Lu 21:8 without the quotes that the NWT authors added and then think about it. Does it line up with the Emphatic Diaglott rendering?
Many for will come in the name of me, saying: That I am, and the season has approached.
Did you notice it didn't say, "saying I am" as the Kingdom Interlinear says? It says, "saying that I am".
So people would acknowledge Jesus as the Christ and then use that fact to mislead many.
So, in conclusion, humans have the right to worship God the way He approves, not the way a body of self-appointed men approve. We can read the scriptures. We can see who the real mediator is between God and men (Christ). We follow his teachings, not some bifurcated, cult teachings that lure family members away, causing much psychological harm to those that cannot "toe the line". My words will affect you Shibboleth. You will leave this cult one day. The very fact you keep talking here proves it.
The fallacy is to think that God isn't organizing ones to come out of false religion. We are here and we are organized in showing you what this religion is doing to innocent family members and friendships. We are united in exposing the WTBTS as a psychologically destructive cult that is wrecking families and friends. You have been programmed not to even think critically of what this cult is doing to others, Shibboleth. Somehow your mind justifies it as Christlike. It's not. It's fraudulant.
The idea that religion must be organized after the Mosaic Law was abolished is a fallacy in itself.
I asked a bible student the other day if he was told that all men must shave their heads, would he then think it's a cult? He said, "Yes, definitely!" So I asked him what about having to shave his face. He said that's different. He then explained that in countries where it's acceptable, JWs can have beards. So I asked him how long have beards been unacceptable in the US? He couldn't answer.
If he couldn't answer then he's kinda stupid, isn't he? If someone showed up at your door with a big burly beard, it might not bother you, cause you're so enlightened, but it would many people.
So as Paul said, "we glorify our ministry" and "give no one a cause for stumbling", by doing what we reasonably can to make our message as appealing as possible. This is such a ridiculous complaint, and it oly serves to demonstrate your heart condition, lack of maturity and love for your fellow man.
"'give no one a cause for stumbling..." Do you mean like using secret publications to lead away unsuspecting family members captive by a new "family" that will disown the person as soon as they start having doubts or disagree with the bullcrap your false god is dishing out?
I don't recall Paul and the other apostles using "Pay Attention To Yourselves And To All The Flock", creating a cult within a cult calling itself "elder body" based on secret mind control techniques taught and then performed by an unsuspecting body of programmed slaves that behave more like Stepford Wives than they do Christians.
The Christians are here, my friend. We're trying to help others avoid the psychological honey trap you mindlessly continue to promote.
Hey Shibboleth, I have a simple task for you to fulfill and then a "thought provoking" question for you to ponder.
Can you name three things you don't like about the organization you serve? List them here please.
Then I'd like you to tell the other unsuspecting people that might happen on this site; Can a person that simply disagrees with the ever-changing teachings leave "Jehovah's Witnesses" after joining without being penalized by shunning therefore losing family members and friends?
"If he couldn't answer then he's kinda stupid, isn't he? If someone showed up at your door with a big burly beard, it might not bother you, cause you're so enlightened, but it would many people."
First, he's a Bible student that reads the comments here that always came to me for ansswers and still is. I think you just offended him highly. Second, You've been brainwashed to associate a beard with something unappealing. If the Society suddenly told you you must now grow a beard, would you?
When the first century apostles considered the matter of circumcision, what was their decision? Was it not in favor of adding "No further burden" to their Gentile brothers?
When Jesus saw the Pharisees abusing the law and making legalistic requirements of those they were supposed to care for, what did he say to them?
Beards are a little thing, but it is that legalistic pervasive in so many other areas that condemns them by their works. Conscience over harsh legalism - every time.
Check out the w08 7/15 on page 4. Paul, a Jew, has a beard and is speaking to a clean shaven Roman householder. I'm surprised the householder didn't expel Paul as an aborigine.
That's kind of an unfair response to call this bible student stupid. He would have no idea that the beard and mustache no no's go back to the early 80's. You know I felt angry and hurt when I was first shown things contradictory in Wt publications I refused to believe it to be true. But the more open minded you are and the more you do your own research within the very publications we held so dear you will see not just one or two cracks but major doctrinal issues.
I agree with angelkiki. I felt the remark was very unChristian but not uncommon among witnesses. The bible student is a personal friend of mine that doesn't just sell out to what appears to be "truth". He's smart enough realize he said something in error. I'm going to do a video called "Hobson's Choice". It would be good to research what that is before I make the video. It will involve the w08 7/15 pg 21, par 19, two sentences prior to the asterisk.
This is so true H40. I left because my conscience would not allow me to bring people into this organization anymore. The FDS CLASS authors who are kept well under wraps were likening ones that once studied to "unsuitable fish", claiming the only hope for them is to join the "Christian congregation", meaning water baptism, thereby making them now supposedly suitable. Yet Jesus' clearly identified the angels as the ones who would make that determination which is not based on entrance into a cult.
Here's where I simply could not agree anymore with the WTS and ultimately became the straw that broke the camel's back. It is the idea that if someone is baptized into this cult, they are somehow absolved of wrongdoing, making them now suitable. In other words, you can be a baptized practicing pedophile and be suitable, but if you are an ex mormon cult escapee who simply will not have anything to do with another cult, you are unsuitable, and this is total crap.
"So as Paul said, "we glorify our ministry" and "give no one a cause for stumbling", by doing what we reasonably can to make our message as appealing as possible."
In the July 15, 2008 WT "Study Edition" on page 4, you'll notice an illustration of Paul speaking to a man at the door. The man is clean shaven and so is Paul's assistant. Guess what Paul is wearing? You guessed it. A beard. Go figure.

I believe from your presentation you are intelligent so to suggest this is loaded language is a disingenuous interference.
cnreason 3 years ago
Yeah, and I'm imagining the Watchtower logo being the very crown worn on Artemis of Ephesus' head too.
The WTBS is a cult and anyone that thinks there's integrity in mind control deserves to have their heads spun with cognitive dissonance. Don't expect it of anybody that has any real sense of what real truth is.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
I have to disagree truth, my fleshly brother is an elder/regular pioneer serving in a foreign country, and he constantly refers to the WT as "Mother" also, an old elder I know back in the day when I was a quick build overseer used to call the WT "mother". And yes, they are insane!
cosmo8525 3 years ago
I'm not the one who said no witness refers to WT as mother.
I was quoting another user.
I came from a hall with 34 elders 1 mile from WT Farms. I heard the WT called mother on a regular basis. I personally never referred to WT as mother.
Does anyone know what the "launching pad" is?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
My point was directed at truthbookblues. More than anything, it is very irritating when folks such as truthbookblues dismiss your very valid points with "I never heard it", as though that makes your statement inaccurate. I didn't intend to lump you in w/ the other commenter
cosmo8525 3 years ago
Yes, I see now. Sorry about the confusion.
Have you ever heard of the "launching pad"?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Other than the space/flight reference, no. Is it a JW term being used?
cosmo8525 3 years ago
Yes, it is a JW term. It refers to the graveyard at Watchtower Farms in Wallkill, NY where they bury the supposed "anointed".
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Sorry props but you are not representing the facts straight here. The "Watchtowers" on Artemis' head have nothing to do with the Watchtower logo. You sound like those idiots at Bethel who attach meanings to absolutely nothing in order to support their doctrines. Be honest, you came up with this connection your self. They indicate that the "Heavenly organization" is thier mother, not the earthly watchtower. If you didn't know that before you weren't much of a Witness. Now I have no use for...
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
their doctrines but we must be honest when exposing them.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
"Not one witness that I knew in 40 years thought of the Watchtower as their mother or referred to it."
Same here. I haven't referred to the WT as "mother" either. I referred to God's heavenly organization which is represented by the FDS here on earth as mother. Their logo is the same logo as what's on top of Artemis of Ephesus' head. Coincidence? Maybe. Deviating from the truth? Not at all. Counsel someone else please. You're no longer an elder and have no authority over me.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
I'm not pro watchtower by any means, but you are reaching here. Ascribing motherly qualities to an organization is a metaphor and not an attempt to incite worship. That comes from the other tactic, subimission to the "faithful and disecrete slave". Their statements about a "Motherly" organization relate to the Heavenly administration of affairs on earth today and not simply the Watchtower. Also, that info is so damn old that only the oldest of WT types ascribe to it. This I know.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
Find something in a more recent article that still gives such emphasis to the "Mother organization" and the same slant and you've got something. Now, there was worshipful attention afforded Fred Franz, no doubt, just as there is towards Ray Franz as the answer man. Stick with relevant issues without using such a stretch to connect things. You sound like the Watchtower itself, taking pieces here and there and making a case. Keep fighting the battle, just stick to reasonable arguments.
Truthbookblues 3 years ago
"Ascribing motherly qualities to an organization is a metaphor and not an attempt to incite worship." Let me ask you a simple question, TBB. Does the WTS exact exclusive devotion?
"Find something in a more recent article..."
Are you suggesting that "the truth" of yesteryear is no longer valid?
"...statements about a "Motherly" organization relate to the Heavenly administration of affairs on earth today and not simply the Watchtower."
Feel free to state what else it refers to.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
*** w85 3/15 p. 11 par. 7 Working With the Organizer of All the Universe ***
"...Jerusalem above, the 'mother' of the Christian congregation."
You've mistakenly assumed I referred to the Watchtower as "mother". I didn't. The FDS claim to be the children of "our mother" spoken of by Paul at Ga 4:26. This "mother" is represented by the logo of a Watchtower, the same watchtower that Artemis of Ephesus had on her head. This is what JWs show their exclusive devotion to - a body of false gods.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
I understand why people get trapped there... well, actually I don't. I see why children and childlike people, get trapped there, but not how people with any brain function above a 90 IQ. As soon as one is able to do a little critical thinking I don't understand how they would continue with such a group or join in the first place. Really, that goes for all the religions of this earth. They are all wanting. They are all just means to control the lemmings.
bowlingballout 3 years ago
Just curious propaganda man, what do you now think of the main doctrinal issues which separate JW's from main-stream Christendom?
What do you think of the trinity, hell-fire, the immortal soul? Do you continue to look to the kingdom as the only true source of relief for humanity? What is the condition of the dead? ... Etc.
I'm really, genuinely interested in your current views, and whether your rejection of JW's means you've also rejected those core doctrinal beliefs?
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
I think you have a wrong idea about people who leave the Organization! First, once you've found mistakes it's only natural to question them all! That takes years to sift thru that mess! So don't expect you just drop everything or run off to Christendom! The Majority either become atheists or want nothing to do with religious institutions after the WTBS Mill! But he is absolutley correct in there use of propaganda and munipulation of peoples minds! We want Truth, that's why we left it was not there
LOJANOS 3 years ago
LOJANOS: Obviously, I can't read hearts, but this guy's story rings phony to me. You wouldn't question it because you agree with his "propaganda". I believe many who leave, and especially those who show up here, are people who got tired of the routine of meetings, assemblies and conventions we JW's keep up as an integral part of our worship. I believe inward feelings of guilt prompt the kinds of attacks you see from people like propanganda-man, as a form of self- justification/vindication.
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
"I believe inward feelings of guilt prompt the kinds of attacks you see from people like propanganda-man"
Actually Shibboleth, it's inward feelings of guilt being planted in your subconscious mind that cause you to feel you must go bang on doors, condemn your neighbors, sell your house, spend your children's college education and whatever else you do, all in the name of the "kingdom" and it's god, the WTBTS and the FDS.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
I can tell you Shib, there was certainly an overwhelming inner feeling of guilt - so much that I knew something was wrong with this group of so called "true Christians".
The most guilt I think I felt was feeling like I was forsaking Christ by following these men who have themselves set up like some kind of larger than life entity. (FDS)
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Sorry Shib, I see you've left the building. Cancelling the account was probably best. Your anger was causing you to become less than what the society demands. I hope you do not respond like that at doors.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
There is absolutely no organized religious movement which cannot be attacked on some basis. Some of the Jews following Jesus said, "this speech is shocking" in response to his comments about eating his flesh and drinking his blood. 1st century christians were thought of as belonging to a cult, etc.
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
You say, "we want truth", well I'm absolutely conviced, after more than 30 years studying the Bible and religion in general, JW's have the right view on the trinity, hell-fire, the immortal soul, condition of the dead, the need to preach the kingdom, refraining from involvement in politics and war, the need for regular congregation attendance, .. etc.
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
Show me a form of worship superior to that of JW's, and I'll be sitting right next to you at their next service!
Also you talk about manipulation of minds, but I can show you a dozen scriptures where Paul and other apostles speak about employing persuasion, reasoning, admonishment, etc.
To cut through the lies, distortions and "teachings of demons" we use these prescibed methods, as a part of our "art of teaching".
So tell me, LOJANOS, if "it's not there", where is it?
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
Hi Shibboleth,
First, before you criticize what I'm saying too much, wait for the next video where I will expose the secret author of one of the most recent articles lying to his audience. When lies are being promoted as "truth", I take issue. I'm doing all I can to help ones like you Shibboleth see these things for what they really are - mental maniplation. I don't get paid to do this. I simply care about others. Does the writer playing with your head care about you? Does he even know you?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Prop-man, first off, you sure do like that word "bifurcated", don't ya? You force it in there any time you think you can.
Second, why do you feel individual JW's must personally know members of the Governing body?
Do you think Christians in Galatia knew all the "older men" in Jerusalem back in the 1st century? ... I have met and spoken with several of them, ... So what!
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
If that's bothering you why not go after the Catholics who haven't personally met the Pope?
You can deny it all you want, but I know you've been twisted and manipulated by the Shazoolo's and TimKilgore's of youtube fame.
By the way, you never answered my questions about doctrine, have you found superior teachings, are those lies too?
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
First, the Catholics aren't ruining families. Second, Catholicism is the bottle of poison with the label. "The Truth" as you like to call it is the same poison without the label. Which is more dangerous?
I never saw one of Shazoolo's videos. Thanks. I think I'll go look.
Yes I have found superior teachings in the Bible itself. They are of Jesus Christ and other first century writers. Take 1 Ti 2:5 for instance. The FDS CLASS has you thinking only they benefit by that. You're being lied to.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
So, I'll ask you again, what are those teachings? Most of your new friends here promote the trinity, hell-fire, the immortal soul, etc, etc. So why won't you answer me? Besides your hatred for all things JW's, (A huge transformation in only three weeks, ... RIGHT..) what is truth? Tell me, I'm interested.
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
Shibboleth, is kool-aid still kool-aid if there's a tablespoon of cyanide in it? Apparently you haven't grasped the concept of hypnotic bait and switch. The best way to deceive honest people is with truth. What you said about most of my "new friends here" is another logical fallacy; "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". I don't even know most of the people here, # 1. # 2, neither do you. You assume most here promote these things due to the bifurcated mindset you've been conditioned to have.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
You again seem to think the FDS CLASS hold the franchise on these teachings. They don't. The moonies, mormons, 7th day adventists and scientologists all teach some of the very same things, mingled with their own brand of cyanide. What seems to be escaping all this rhetoric is the fact you're the one trapped in a mind controlling cult, not the ones here you think you're reasoning with. We're free, and that's the one thing we have in common here.
Do you equate this with field service?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
If you're counting the time here as field service, Shibboleth, you're in direct violation of your own institutionalized belief system. You're not supposed to be talking to us. We're apostates, remember?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Here's a very simple truth for you Shibboleth, and when you can grasp this, you too can be free from the cognitive dissonance your beliefs cause you:
(John 8:31-32) . . .If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Keep in mind Shibboleth, I'm not the one saying you are not to be talking to us here. The FDS CLASS tells you that so you won't learn the truth of what you're really involved with.
Many of us here are speaking in agreement with Christ himself. Do you remember what Jesus said about that?
(Matthew 18:20) . . .For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
I know you arethinking that satan also quotes scriptures. But one thing you would do well to ask yourself is this; if following Christ is the ONLY way to truth, what is following the FDS CLASS equated to?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
You've been lulled into some false sense of security, thinking you're safe in some kind of "ark" where the lid is now closing. Has it ever occured to you that the "ark" you believe you are so safely sitting in might in all actuality really be the Titanic?
You don't see it, but when someone that keeps his identity secret from you is guiding you as some type of Christ, no good can come out of it, no matter how much truth such an angel of light may be spouting. The voice you follow is only a man.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago

Therefore no matter what bits of truth are strung into WT teachings to make it believable, it is a false teaching and it will be punished by God.
meriwold 3 years ago
I have a question for you Shibboleth...
Why are we in need of a savior? I believe it is because we dead in our sin....but what does it take for salvation?
Meri
meriwold 3 years ago
Please read Luke 21:8. Examine the Witnesses' teachings and see whether the scripture applies. Search the WT library and see how many times that scripture has been commented on.
If it's the truth to you, then by all means you should stick with it. Just make sure that you believe what you think you believe.
I'll follow this comment with a comment from CT Russell.

WT Sept. 15, 1895
"Beware of "organization." It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours. Believe and obey so far as you can understand God's Word today."
Be well.
superpunk012884 3 years ago
Both comments are excellent superpunk. Read Lu 21:8 without the quotes that the NWT authors added and then think about it. Does it line up with the Emphatic Diaglott rendering?
Many for will come in the name of me, saying: That I am, and the season has approached.
Did you notice it didn't say, "saying I am" as the Kingdom Interlinear says? It says, "saying that I am".
So people would acknowledge Jesus as the Christ and then use that fact to mislead many.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
So, in conclusion, humans have the right to worship God the way He approves, not the way a body of self-appointed men approve. We can read the scriptures. We can see who the real mediator is between God and men (Christ). We follow his teachings, not some bifurcated, cult teachings that lure family members away, causing much psychological harm to those that cannot "toe the line". My words will affect you Shibboleth. You will leave this cult one day. The very fact you keep talking here proves it.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
The fallacy is to think that God isn't organizing ones to come out of false religion. We are here and we are organized in showing you what this religion is doing to innocent family members and friendships. We are united in exposing the WTBTS as a psychologically destructive cult that is wrecking families and friends. You have been programmed not to even think critically of what this cult is doing to others, Shibboleth. Somehow your mind justifies it as Christlike. It's not. It's fraudulant.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
The idea that religion must be organized after the Mosaic Law was abolished is a fallacy in itself.
I asked a bible student the other day if he was told that all men must shave their heads, would he then think it's a cult? He said, "Yes, definitely!" So I asked him what about having to shave his face. He said that's different. He then explained that in countries where it's acceptable, JWs can have beards. So I asked him how long have beards been unacceptable in the US? He couldn't answer.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
If he couldn't answer then he's kinda stupid, isn't he? If someone showed up at your door with a big burly beard, it might not bother you, cause you're so enlightened, but it would many people.
So as Paul said, "we glorify our ministry" and "give no one a cause for stumbling", by doing what we reasonably can to make our message as appealing as possible. This is such a ridiculous complaint, and it oly serves to demonstrate your heart condition, lack of maturity and love for your fellow man.
ShibbolethJW 3 years ago
"'give no one a cause for stumbling..." Do you mean like using secret publications to lead away unsuspecting family members captive by a new "family" that will disown the person as soon as they start having doubts or disagree with the bullcrap your false god is dishing out?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
I don't recall Paul and the other apostles using "Pay Attention To Yourselves And To All The Flock", creating a cult within a cult calling itself "elder body" based on secret mind control techniques taught and then performed by an unsuspecting body of programmed slaves that behave more like Stepford Wives than they do Christians.
The Christians are here, my friend. We're trying to help others avoid the psychological honey trap you mindlessly continue to promote.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Hey Shibboleth, I have a simple task for you to fulfill and then a "thought provoking" question for you to ponder.
Can you name three things you don't like about the organization you serve? List them here please.
Then I'd like you to tell the other unsuspecting people that might happen on this site; Can a person that simply disagrees with the ever-changing teachings leave "Jehovah's Witnesses" after joining without being penalized by shunning therefore losing family members and friends?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
"If he couldn't answer then he's kinda stupid, isn't he? If someone showed up at your door with a big burly beard, it might not bother you, cause you're so enlightened, but it would many people."
First, he's a Bible student that reads the comments here that always came to me for ansswers and still is. I think you just offended him highly. Second, You've been brainwashed to associate a beard with something unappealing. If the Society suddenly told you you must now grow a beard, would you?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
When the first century apostles considered the matter of circumcision, what was their decision? Was it not in favor of adding "No further burden" to their Gentile brothers?
When Jesus saw the Pharisees abusing the law and making legalistic requirements of those they were supposed to care for, what did he say to them?
Beards are a little thing, but it is that legalistic pervasive in so many other areas that condemns them by their works. Conscience over harsh legalism - every time.
superpunk012884 3 years ago
Check out the w08 7/15 on page 4. Paul, a Jew, has a beard and is speaking to a clean shaven Roman householder. I'm surprised the householder didn't expel Paul as an aborigine.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
That's kind of an unfair response to call this bible student stupid. He would have no idea that the beard and mustache no no's go back to the early 80's. You know I felt angry and hurt when I was first shown things contradictory in Wt publications I refused to believe it to be true. But the more open minded you are and the more you do your own research within the very publications we held so dear you will see not just one or two cracks but major doctrinal issues.
angelkiki07 3 years ago
I agree with angelkiki. I felt the remark was very unChristian but not uncommon among witnesses. The bible student is a personal friend of mine that doesn't just sell out to what appears to be "truth". He's smart enough realize he said something in error. I'm going to do a video called "Hobson's Choice". It would be good to research what that is before I make the video. It will involve the w08 7/15 pg 21, par 19, two sentences prior to the asterisk.

We judge others as jw's far harsher than God will ever do. Most so called "Apostates" leave for "truth" its never about piddly little non issues.
angelkiki07 3 years ago
This is so true H40. I left because my conscience would not allow me to bring people into this organization anymore. The FDS CLASS authors who are kept well under wraps were likening ones that once studied to "unsuitable fish", claiming the only hope for them is to join the "Christian congregation", meaning water baptism, thereby making them now supposedly suitable. Yet Jesus' clearly identified the angels as the ones who would make that determination which is not based on entrance into a cult.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago
Here's where I simply could not agree anymore with the WTS and ultimately became the straw that broke the camel's back. It is the idea that if someone is baptized into this cult, they are somehow absolved of wrongdoing, making them now suitable. In other words, you can be a baptized practicing pedophile and be suitable, but if you are an ex mormon cult escapee who simply will not have anything to do with another cult, you are unsuitable, and this is total crap.
