What did you have buried in your capsule? We had the tape, along with some written predictions, drawings and some newspaper clips. We finally buried the next one in October, and already some crazy stuff has happened in our family. Can't wait for 2014!
Yeah, I had a bankbook with about £1.20 in it, peice of paper written when I buried the timecapsule, old lottery tickets. Nothing special really!. Plan to do a couple more better timecapules later in the year. My other one has been buried since July 1st 2000 with photos, letter, magazine, coins, old bankbook from 1980, used lottery tickets from 1994 , bus ticket from 1994.
was there any point in burying it just for five years.

I'm Back! I buried 3 more on My 30th birthday (May 2010). Goning open my July 1st 2000 timecapsule on July 19th 2012.

I digged up my 5 year old timecapsule 1 week ago. The contents survived and reburried it the very same day along with a catalog book.
