What these companies pay out in bonuses/salaries is their business.... Unless the government has provided them with a company-saving loan with stipulations on bonuses then the government best keep their hands out.
Sure the largest economy(largest exporter and importer, largest trade partner of countries like the USA,China,India) in the world has no voice even though it took one word and the American legislature was forced to reconsider some of its plans. What was it called? Buy American clause?
