Hey there... Great vids, and I just sub'd to your channel a bit earlier..

I am kinda curious, though, about something.

In your Aion 2.5 episode, you noted that you were happy that the game (at that time) didn't have a random group finder a la WoW and that you preferred doing it "the old way" where you would find members yourself, to ensure quality, etc.

So, with 2.6, it seems they've implemented exactly the system you were glad they didn't have before.

Do you feel it's a Good thing now?

@lupine73 I feel its a nice thing to have for your own server, but I dont like cross server ones because it provides players a way out of interaction with there server community.

Nice quick review. I decided to subscribe to you. Its sad though that when I go on forums I see so many trolls insulting Aion. I wish NCsoft had done a better job of marketing it here in the states. I can imagine most people are bored of WOW but they don't know Aion exists. I met quite a few people at my university that never even heard of Aion. As you said Blizzard just presses the nerf button. They don't improve themselves cause the fanbase is convinced everything they throw at them is great.

@DaftLogic Well I dont think its because they didnt market, its that they didnt market after the fail launch. They need to market it as a new game now because its waaaay polished now. And welcome to the channel! =D

@LUGOEntertainment Well what I meant was when compared to the way Aion was marketed in Korea they didn't do as good a job here. I mean, when Rift came out I saw its commercial quite a few times but I never saw one for Aion since release. But in Korea Aion had its own commercial as well as being featured in a Pepsi commercial. As you said its a whole new game and deserves some marketing. Not just a poster in your local gamestop. And thanks for the welcome ^-^ look forward to more eps~

@DaftLogic Yeah I agree, they could have marketed it better at launch, but that would have just meant a bigger dip in subs, and I have 2.6 review coming out soon, sometime this weekend. Just got my new GPU fan so I can actually play Aion now haha. Also have Gods and Heroes and Scarlet Legacy! So stay tuned!

@polymorth Personally I think the graphics could use some work in this game, but the gameplay for me is what makes it Aion. Keep in mind my first MMO was Silkroad Online so thats the style of MMO that fits me. Which is why I enjoy Aion a ton, plus NCSoft has proven to be this years most improving game company out there, I mean CONSTANT updates and are listening to the community and grabbing the usefull things from them. Blizzard doesnt do that, they just press the nerf button, "That was easy".
