I cant find a relly good version i saw of this story on tv whe i was little...the girl had the ribbon, but also a locked whit it, and the guy just met her, and she was mute...then i think they scape from her dad and she takes off the ribbon with the locked and talks, she says 'I love you' i think and then her head falls, the guy opnes the locked after and its a picture of him and her, like theyd met before, litltle more misterious huh...but i cant find it anywhere :(
This is the third short film based on the Black Velvet Ribbon I've seen,and it's by far the best.The other two were comedic in tone so it was nice to see Ali Isham film this as a suspense story,which was the intent of the original story.I liked the changes to the story as well like having the woman die as the ribbon was removed instead of letting her disembodied head continue on living.Her death made the character tragic and sad.I also liked the twist at the end.Very clever.Great job by Ali.
