@arrowbyname the normal for these cars is about 40mm drop, but you could just get some adjustable struts so u can lower or raise the car as you wish

2.0 duratec turbo, td04 turbo, cosworth cams, 10psi, turbo manifold can be bought from puma speed, car was re-mapped on SCT software by Adam @ Dreamscience, sure there's bits I've forgot....

If you have actually removed the dump valve to try and create a chatter sound it has failed terribly, all you have done is reduced the life of the turbo considerably and ended up with the exact same sound.

Enzer there are videos of the car fitted with the blow off valve in my other ones like the one at brunters have a look - yes we all know that making a car chatter and stalling the turbo reduces the life, we all know that because 90% of the people on the board below have turbo'd cars. The turbo is very new anyway and the car is only running 10psi so don't worry yourself.

Dump valves release the pressure created by the turbo when the engine no longer needs it, IE you come off power, the pressured gas needs to escape and so to avoid damage to the car it is directed out through a dump valve. When you remove that dump valve the gas has no where to escape, and so stalls the turbo, the "chatter" you hear is the blades cutting the air as it hits the turbo.

So yes my keyboard hero friends, I know exactly what Im talking about whether you agree with me or not.

That is the exact same sound as I used to get on my Fiesta RS, BEFORE I put a dump valve on it. It's the air escaping back past the blades in the turbo when you take your foot off the accelerator. It's being amplified through the induction kit...
