  • Do those motors have parachutes, so when they're jettisoned, they don't land on someone...

  • No, the solid motors are always jettisoned over the ocean, and they are eaten away pretty quickly by the saltwater.

  • Great video, don't ask me why but I actually watched this live on NASA TV... amazing what suddenly takes your fancy when browsing isnt it. I think its a dark desire to see something happen, like BANG! ha ha
