The reason I ask is because it doesn't sound right to me ending with a verb and です and because I have facebook in Japanese (part of ajatt) and when writing a comment it asks what are you doing now: 今なにをしていますか？Which I think is the polite form of your one minus the です.

I liked having a handwritten form and a printed(computer) form to judge how the characters looked from different perspectives. If you prefer the new way then it doesn't really bother me but the handwriting did help me to see the variation!
