he's just being polite, not a knob. I don't know about hip-hop DJing, so for all purposes that might be called a blend in that genre. It is, however pretty easy to do, but then again the video is for noobs and that's ok. Everyone has to start somewhere and as blinkzone1 pointed out, the dude obviously knows how to play.
