iClone 2.5 is a free upgrade releasing in September 2007. Here's the info :)

Well "Direct Picking and Manipulating Selected Objects inside the 3D preview window", is pretty much the one thing I really need.

Thanks Cape. The 'link-to' feature created the bones attached to the characters and combined with CloneCloth's ability to edit the opacity of the skin you can hide the areas of the body to make any 'skin' invisible. I left only the front chest, stomach and muscle tissue panels for the arms and legs using an opacity map on the skn. iClone is very effective for creating a biped human or non-human with some imagination and combination of features.
