Well if i can convince anyone into buying one, i'd like to say that my 2004 is300 is the best car i've ever owned. The best looking, the most reliable, and actually pretty damn quick for the 170 rwhp it makes. I can get mine to 60 in about 6.8 seconds w/ e-shift. the car makes use of every one of its hp's. and it handles like a damn bmw imo.

@Brendon00000 lol yes indeed that is a tough choice. I had to make a similar choice between the Toyota Altezza and the Skyline v35. Both cars are the Japanese versions of what you have there. Well, i took the Altezza. Why? Because it is smaller, more sporty and less family oriented. Engines in these care are different than yours as well. What did you choose?

i own a 05 sedan is 300 aswell ..how many of u have changed the front control arm in the suspension cause of the amazing amount of wear on the inside edge on the front tires!!! seriously 10,000 miles on a brand new 50,000 - 60,000 mile tire is fucked up oh and by the way anybody know the approximate speed of this test?

They say the driver hits their head on the B-pillar...I don't know about y'all IS300 but mine has side curtain airbags (as I thought they all did)

the side curtain airbags were designed to deploy in side-impact collisions.. likely won't deploy on frontal impact.

Actually they will, it just depends on how and how hard it was hit. I recently found out that in 01, they didn't have them but added them for an option in 02 and standard for 04+

Actually my '01 has curtain airbags. I also have one of the few without the moon roof and fabric interior, which is sooo much nicer than leather =P it sucks though cause the car is sooo damn expensive to fix if it isn't totalled in an accident

Well I guess Edmunds was wrong, lol. Tell me about it, I have the Sportdesign with the 5sd. I know it adds another 71 lbs to the car having the moonroof but honestly, I love my leather seats and couldn't live with out being able to open it in the summer :)

On the IS fourms, a lot of ppl talk about taking theirs out but it wouldn't be worth the hassle of doing it for me even if I didn't like having one. What color is yours? I've only seen one that had the cloth interior and it was a SY.

@SF18BRAV0 01 is exactly the same frame and body wise, the differences from the 01 to 02 are minor interior changes.
