One thing i cant grasp about african americans is that many spend too much time on egypt. Wen many of us descend from west africa, yet i barely hear much about west african civilizations. I have heard about black people who lived here in what is now called the U.S., that came from Lemuria. Which was a civilization that sank in the ocean. I`ve heard claims that the survivors of Lemuria settled in what is known today as California. And that they were here when the Europeans took this land and the whites killed and enslaved them as well. I already know about the Olmecs. But there was also Native tribes here who were black as well.

I am going off of the out of Africa theory and people jsut understand no early human was black or white or whatever. The earliest humans were ALL pale and had straight hair like a primate or ape then they developed dark skin so some stayed in Africa and got sub saharan features (kinky hair, broad nose, full lips) and other of these homosapiens left Africa and went to other areas and got features from those environments.

@oneindachamber This is something you have clearly gotten from your warped mind...lol In southeast Africa you had to have wooly hair and dark skin in order to survive the UV rays from the hot sun in those days. And we are not talking about the very first people. They are talking about the so called modern humans. For one thing, white doesn`t create other colors but black does. In sub Saharan Africa you will see tribes with sisters who are born some dark and some light skinned.

@oneindachamber There is a tribe called the Yarawa who live on an island off of India. They migrated there over 40,000 years ago and were only discovered sometime around 1974. They have the same features as black people you would see in west or south Africa as well. Those features mean that your ancestors came from one of, if not the hottest, environment on the planet for a very long time. And when, SCIENTIST`S, say that all races of humans DNA can be traced back to Africa....

@oneindachamber They didn't just pick up so call African people from West Africa, they gather up people from many parts of that continent. This is why we're so different in our make up in characteristics and beliefs. Some of them that was taken into captivity had the attributes to be warriors and some were, just plain old hunters and farmers. But the ones who were considered to be warriors didn't stay captive for very long. (Haiti for instance, tribe from the Sudan, of N.Africa.)

They ALL look different and retain their respective ethnic features.
