I live in Reno, and I WON a cd of "BGWTB" by CALLING IN and being able to IDENTIFY 3 AIC SONGS! THIS TOOL had NO CLUE. He should be FIRED. He probably went to their concert cuz he was PAID TO. I saw them TWICE in 2010 because I HAD TO, I WANTED TO, out of LOVE for my FAVORITE BAND EVER. Again, FIRED FIRED!

Amazing album but is it just me or does cantrell seem to be the lead singer on this album he sings lead on most of the songs and his voice dominates the harmonies

i dont know i actually think the album is pretty good and im as big a layne staley fan as you will find!!!. is it as good as there previous work??.. no not quite but its still a damn good ablum and whoever said black gives way to blue has no emotional feel to it does not get the same feeling i get when i listen to it.. that song is DEEP!!! long live aic and RIP LAYNE!!

Me too, I'm a big Layne fan as well, I don't go a day without listening/thinking about him, and I really like the new album. Of coarse Layne would make it better, but it's still good.

I so agree...I wanted very much to like it. The album is mediocre AT BEST! And "Black Gives Way To Blue" has absolutely NO emotional feel to it, nor does the rest of the album. God - he was the best..
